Epic Ride to Namanga Town with Voge and Tekken Riders! Part 1 of 2
On this ride we embark on a thrilling ride to Namanga Town, right on the border between Kenya and Tanzania! This adventure was filled with breathtaking landscapes, camaraderie, and the thrill of the open road. Riding alongside a fantastic group of Voge and Tekken enthusiasts, we enjoyed every moment of this journey.
However, the ride wasn't without its challenges. On our way, a drunk Subaru driver hit one of our riders. Fortunately, the rider only sustained minor injuries, and everyone else was safe. Despite the mishap, the spirit of adventure remained high, and we continued our journey to Namanga, taking in the stunning views and enjoying the company of like-minded riders.

Adventure Ride to Lake Chala|Voge 300DS

This was a relatively long solo ride to Lake Chala, the second deepest lake in Kenya after Lake Turkana. The climate changed from cool and wet in Machakos County, to hot and dry across Makueni County and some parts of Taita Taveta County. I was lucky to see some wildlife on the roadside while traversing the Tsavo West. Watch as my Voge 300DS handles the diverse terrains like a beast

Good evening sir! It is a beautiful bike! I would like to ask, what type of engine oil do you use? I've heard that the 15W-50 is a good choice because it's engine consumes engine oil, is that true? Greetings from Greece! Always ride safe!
I use 10w 40 and it serves me perfectly

Good morning from hot Greece!! I am going to buy it the next month so i would like to ask a few questions about it. 1. Here in Greece our average environment temperature is about 40°celcious at summer. Is it going to have any high engine temp issue due to the weird radiator fan that it has on? 2. I 've heard about engine oil consumption...is it true?Is it considerable so i'll have to worry about that in my short trips with the bike? 3. How about engine coolant leaks from the right side of the engine?Right on the water pump sealings. 4. Is the fuel meter reliable? I would like to apologise for my babbling but here in Greece these are the common problems with this particular bike. The bike is so beautiful but i have to put up with these problems if these are exist. Thanks a lot in advance!!! Your country is very beautiful!!! Always ride safe with all the appropriate gear!!!
@AlexKorras 1. I dont think so....the radiator effectively regulates the temperature....although the fan is a bit loud, it works effectively. Mine mostly turns on when im cruising on low speeds. 2. Concerning engine oil consumption. I haven't experienced this issue...as long as you use a thick oil rated 10w 40 or 20w 50..youre okay.. I would recommend motul 5100. 3. Engine coolant leaks..I have noticed this. I have tried tightening the screws to max, but once in a while, I see a drop near the exhaust. 4. My fuel meter is very reliable... when you bent the bike...probably when on a kickstand...the meter doesnt get an accurate reading but when you start going. It adjusts appropriately.

Good morning, does it have any vibrations at 110-120 kmh?I hear a lot of complaints about vibrations in general.Does the engine consume any oil?VOGE writes at the bike's manual that 200ml/1000km of oil consumption is acceptable. Have a nice day!!!Drive always carefully and with your gear on!

Hey Dennis. Between a Voge 300 ds and Dominar 400, which would you advice one to save for and buy? Bearing in mind price, looks (unajua wakenya na kutesa🤣) na pia performance. Note sijui price ya Dominar but I know Voge is 585k at Nairobi power bikes
Considering power and torque, Dominar would definitely be a better choice....given its higher ccs compared to DS. In terms of affordability, Voge wins....its actually just a few ccs under dominar and the speeds you would accomplish with a mid range bike can be realized with this bike. On the other hand, if you would go for Dominar, price will most likely be higher, and you might have to incur extra shipping and importation costs since we dont have a dealer here in Kenya... In terms of aesthetics, voge wins....this bike is a beauty ......Uvîtaa ûkew'a mînaa yaasya, wueeh....kwasisya îmota yu.

Thank you so much for this wholesome reply. I've seen a Fb page Dominar Kenya claiming to stock the bikes though they never reply to comments about the price. They have website too, ailkenya listing even pulsar bikes. I think I'll consider the Voge then based on price, aesthetics na the fact that I've seen you cruising at considerate speeds on it. Some time soon I'll join you on the streets. Ride Safe comrade
