What a night. An undeniably boozy performance from a freshly reunited band/three freshly reunited friends, tackling an almost entirely brand new repertoire. Thankfully, this spirited gig was recorded without our knowledge (two of the performances would eventually become the basis of tracks on The Static). I may leak another song or two as the mood takes me. I put out a call for photos and video...

Sounds almost like the original from the 70s slowed down
I always thought this was their best song.
Eric Clapton is by far one of the most over rated, boring, racist pieces of shit music has ever seen. He’s contributed nothing really besides stealing other peoples ideas, where it be black music or his contemporaries guitar tones. He had no originality and I compare him to your average music student, with pockets full of mummy’s money who can play ur head off. Who actually gives a shit that you’re a good guitarist!? Right place right time wrong person
Donegal
He is a truly horrible human being. He stole Patti Boyd from Harrison, and they were friends. He's a piece of crap.
And here we are years later and Britain has truly given their country and their culture away. They welcomed invading barbarians and there’s no coming back from that.
Eric Clapton is not a racist he made these comments while he was in his period of alcoholism and deep depression where he was into self sabotage which is very common among alcoholics and after many years of sobriety has acknowledged his past mistakes due to alcohol
Somehow when my father beat the crap out of my mother when he was drunk, that it matters much. He still said it.
An excuse….
@PJMUSICPJMUSIC I'm not excusing it's just a fact that alcoholics say abusive things surely you have witnessed this yourself in your own life
@@InnocentAbyssinianCat-eb7ge You are making excuses, it is exactly what you are doing. In my experience truth often comes out when people are intoxicated because one loses inhibition. I suspect this was his real feelings coming to the fore at that time.
In vino, veritas.
Soooo, he has an opinion. Got it.
He was absolutely right then and has simply been proven even more right over time. That’s what people of any worth get from this.
yuppo! gem
What a douche
I doubt your life would stand close scrutiny would it? Yet you take a cheap shot at Clapton. Says much more about you
So, Clapton can criticize people, but no one else can? No he's fair game.
He is simply stating an opinion that you do not like. Clapton is simply a human being; not a god, so we can criticize him and it does not reveal any character flaw. However, it does reveal your character flaw; that everyone must agree with you.
What?
is it on spotify?
😂😂
Clapton was a cronic alchoholic at this point in his life. I doubt he holds the same views now.
a drunk tongue says what a sober heart feels
Oh, he meant EVERY word. What an idiot -- all while appropriating the music created by Black people. Typical culture vulture behavior.
@@veeas11But if you disregard the expletives he has a legitimate point, especially as we now see the mess this country has descended into and other western nations as a result of uncontrolled immigration, sparking a right wing resurgence across Europe.

I just found out this is a thing and it’s fucking AMAZING
He wasn't even the best on cream. That band was good because of the drummer.
My favorite was jack and His booming voice .
Nah , except for the Jimi Hendrix Experience , Cream was the greatest 3 piece band that ever existed.
@@mikethebike7372 Jimi Hendrix was so overrated. I much prefer Phil Lynott.
Funny @@distantthunder12ck55
What makes cream better than the experience was that it was not a one man show
OMG, THE VOCALS @ 0.25 AROUND THE 2:18 MARK SOUND LIKE CINDY TOOK TOO MUCH DMT & IS SEEING THOSE CLOWN ENTITIES
*****THE ULTIMATE TEST ( KIND OF SOUNDS LIKE SKRILLEX DID THE SONG) PLAY @ 0.25 & SEE HOW LONG YOU CAN LISTEN TO IT! ***** Note - the synth is really messed up like this, sounds a bit like a slowed down Hawkwind song with Tim Blake being on massive amounts of quaaludes
Peter Griffin dying

THIS IS SO FUNNY LOL
Three years ago we lost Joe
I’d be willing to bet David Gilmour or someone he knew accidentally put that single on on the wrong speed. He heard the first few bars and then wrote “Learning to Fly”
Great sunshine song!
That song is beautiful
add reverb and its vaporwave
Great times!
Summon the playful one .. 👽👓👽👓🎛️🎧
For all these years I didn't realize there was a horn section hiding under the vocals...
