Numa das várias comunidades alternativas por onde passei, havia uma mulher que afirmava ser bruxa. Era bastante popular. Sempre que ouvia os cães anunciar a chegada de visitantes (os últimos 200 metros até à casa serrana tinham um acesso exclusivamente pedonal), pegava nos binóculos para melhor avaliar o tipo de encenação que iria oferecer, e logo corria para fazer chá e colocar na varanda um número de chávenas equivalente aos inesperados convivas. Depois corria ou para a horta atrás da casa, ou para o banho. Quando lhe batiam à porta, ela fingia não os ter visto chegar e declarava misteriosa: “há vários dias que estava à vossa espera. Sabia que iriam chegar por agora”. Para o “provar”, oferecia o chá acabado de fazer. “Já vos conhecia de sonhos” - costumava acrescentar. (Charlatães destes às vezes afirmam que conseguiram essas revelações nominais através do horóscopo ou confabulando com espíritos...) Havia quem se impressionasse com esse teatro infantil, sobretudo quando a anfitriã paranormal uns dias antes já tinha sido informada (por amigos comuns) até dos nomes dos convivas que apareceriam “de surpresa”. Entre os alternativos iluminados, fartei-me de ver variações deste truque. “ A nossa ligação é antiga, de outras vidas”... - é uma das frases (proferida numa entoação hierática) que mais usam para fisgar crédulos. Mantêm um contato visual bastante intenso (até chegam a semicerrar os olhos, lobrigando/perscrutando distantes horizontes psicoespirituais), fingindo olhar fundo na “nossa alma”. Acompanha um sorriso complacente e a familiaridade forçada na voz, enquanto geralmente seguram as nossas mãos com reconfortante firmeza. E logo essa pantomima enredadora é sublinhada com frases do tipo “conheço e sinto a tua dor”... Mais do que um apelo à autocomiseração, é supostamente um reconhecimento tácito e profundo das nossas vulnerabilidades e traumas, mas também um acolhimento que permitirá libertar o nosso potencial. Neste ponto, podem ainda tentar os truques da leitura a frio e preferencialmente a quente, mas o mais provável é que a vítima crédula se abra, entregando as informações que @ embusteir@ quer e finge já ter, não lhe sendo difícil descortinar a carência de aceitação e o assoberbamento que causa a lhana sensação de pertencimento que grande parte de nós anela. A minha experiência pessoal confirma que essa é uma estratégia semelhante à dos proselitistas evangélicos (que até comummente ousam afirmar que são formados em psicologia, apesar de ser óbvio que a esmagadora maioria destes missionários e estelionatários nunca passou por uma universidade e são uma completa nulidade em termos de racionalismo e hábitos de leitura) e até dos pederastas que procuram presas fáceis entre crianças e adolescentes dolorosamente desajustados das suas famílias e comunidades. No Brasil, é costume @s curandeir@s espiritualistas e caucasian@s afirmarem que são possuíd@s pelo espírito dum médico alemão. Acredito que especificidade da nacionalidade e género desses espíritos se deva à excessiva credibilidade de casta e pedigree com que a comunidade alemã é tida por aqui.

remaining yourself with healthily defined boundaries yet being able to connect is the new way of healthy dynamics in communties. it has often been thought closeness is the goal of communities yet people soon realise that it has it's downfalls & it is difficult for us to let go off ourselves & merge with others, this leads to over-closeness & what is called emotional enmeshment. learning emotional & identity self-differentiation within group connections can be a game changer.

ashrams have always been service-oriented communities with a spiritual vision yet with a vertical hierarchy-based leadership with a Guru figure, i lived in such a place in India for 8 months. such system is not perfect & yet it is effective, there is a holistic approach & organised schedule, routines, departments & everyone participates. it is completely self-sufficient often supported by Govt & donations of wealthy devotees but also ashram generates wealth through publishing books, trainings, etc like in any community, conflicts do happen, yet there are strict principles on diet: vegetarianism (really well organised kitchens & dining halls, processes), discipline (early wake-up & early bed-time: going with nature biorhythm), celebrations with guests, traditional festivals with rituals, yogic practices for well-being, health & vitality, peace; karma yoga: community works - there is plenty work to do always & this keeps people healthy & busy following some goal & being part of cooperative system for the good of everyone; regular yogic practices for body-mind-spirit harmonisation purposes are the foundation & help always because it keeps human shadow under check of soul's light. like in any community, power struggles, competition, disputes, misunderstandings are part of the process & learning to deal with it in a yogic way helps to grow with it & not allow to drawn at every crisis yet to keep learning. actually, what i saw is city people specially from West are not used to such culture & after some excitement period they start being annoyed & feeling uncomfortable, that is also part of process, one leaves the habitual place & people, food, routines & comes to a place where everything is new, so people are out of comfort zones, some adapt easier & faster, some other struggle but find ways, some others quit at some point & move on somewhere else. i also observed many different type of communities when i lived in Bali, more new age type, they were more intimacy & freedom enjoyers, and frankly they seemed to be lacking experience & were just having fun & exploring attracting young people wanting to enjoy relationships, flirt, have cacao ceremonies, mushrooms, etc etc but somehow later on seeing that all of those things are nice & fun yet they do not contribute to a higher goal for sustainable growth & development. maybe these two examples are two opposite extremes & they co-exist. i would say, in my heart i have a vision of something new, yet of course using the best of what has existed in order to create a new way of community life but this requires a new way of feeling, thinking & being at the same time. one can not come broken, intoxicated, mentally sick & expect to be happy instantly living all behind, there is a way which empowers people to change as a process for the better. the yogic culture has been at some distant past the global culture so we have this experience at Soul level & maybe it is the rebirthing time

inspiring decided to join an eco village

wonderful project! from my personal experience inner path & community when combined together - work really well! One can not bring significant change into the community without inner habitual consciousness transformation first, this is so essential. It is not possible to make outer change happen without the inner change first or in parallel. Sometimes One needs time in isolation & solitude to work on some inner transforming healing processes, at other times community life is a catalyst, these periods can be combined & are cyclic, they get interlinked & there are no rules & structure to life to happen ✨i have heard about this community after vipassana retreat from my german room mate who talked about it, i introduced him my ashram life experience, i felt he was not ready to dive deep within, eventhough he went through vipassana, i saw him being very reactive & annoyed with noises & lacked tolerance, he spoke great things about Tamera yet as i say inner work is the foundation always for any community liberation^ and that foundation has to be really strong before going into high things like free sexuality or free love, this is not for ordinary people with habitual consciousness level at all, pardon 🙏🏻💜
