My humble three suggestions as I know about you very superficially: 1. If you have financial burden then cut off your music career path because you are losing genuine fun in doing music. 2. Stop “chasing trophies” from your mindset to prove your personal success. 3. If music assets are your sole asset that you have accumulated since you were kid then try to uncover a new asset and develop it. Asking yourself a simple question “am I adding more 「margin value」into my music assets or less with current efforts?”, if less then it’s time to create a new “product” that could make higher 「margin value 」. Yes, you need to define your own 「Margin Value」 to evaluate. 什麼是妳的產業？ God bless.😅

Now, this is subjective as this topic affects everyone in a different way. The things you are doing now, do you enjoy the current lifestyle? Or the previous lifestyle for that matter? We as humans always find ourselves thinking about this in the back of our minds. We as humans also evolve as we age as we also start thinking differently. Especially when one decides to settle down & start their own family. We as humans also have a pace that we take & sometimes it may be too slow because it feels like what one puts in effort, it is not going anywhere. Or in the case it is going too fast & suddenly you have all of these things that you have to juggle & you can't tackle the issues all at once. Once you find the pace you are comfortable at, you will be able to enjoy life at its fullest. Have some kind of book with a schedule & you should be fine as long as you can fit it into your schedule. If you are unable to fit it into your schedule, go back to it another time. I should not be writing something that looks like an essay.😅 Any rate, you have a strong will. You are still as amazing as ever.🤗

I feel a similar way too, but does it matter? I am approaching 30 soon too myself and I have nothing comparable to people our age. Where I am from, I was almost 25 by the time I graduated from university, then I took massive risks by betting on myself. Alas, I didn't 'make it', but it wasn't an outright failure either. Now, I am trying to change courses and that hasn't gone smoothly either. My days have been tiring, I've been told indirectly that I am 'useless', you know.. typical asian compliments that sound well-meaning (which imo they intended) but really would have been better unsaid. What I've been focusing on is what I can directly control as well as focusing on what matters, which is being present and appreciating our time around our love ones, family and friends. Many come to say they regret all these, but they never make a conscious effort to do these things early and now. We are lucky to have the internet which has made it so easy for those ahead of us to share their experiences and wisdom, letting us avoid some of these mistakes and regrets. Yet, I see many people ahead of me in life, not take advantage of it. It's not perfect, mishaps still will happen. Regrets too, though probably different to the one originally. Looking in the rear-view mirror, everything is obvious, but that's not life and all we can do is make the best of our situation and consciously work towards the outcomes we want, hoping for the best. I hold myself to a high standard, multiples more than I do for anyone else. But I do think it's okay too, to be 'mediocre' for some part. Sometimes we are harsh on ourselves, often too harsh, more than anyone will ever be on ourselves. I think, whatever you do, the only person you don't want to disappoint, is yourself. Be what you want to be, not what other want you to become.
