Songs written by Trevor Rabin and Duncan Faure. Much of this footage my brother Bill Faure gave Carte Blanche, whom along with Louis Moller started Carte Blanche in S. Africa. Other footage is from the Duncan Faure documentary, "Better Than Ever". The live footage is owned and brilliantly produced by Gordon Roberts who's given us his blessing. Duck Chowles put this together, thought it was bril...

Oh my, I'd completely forgotten about this absolutely lovely song that Duncan had written. Just beautiful!!! I think I had a 45rpm of this song.....now, I recall the child singing at the end~~~
South Africa's Pride
Greetings Duncan Faure from a fellow South African! I remember well when Rabbitt exploded onto the pop scene in SA! You guys have made us proud! I wish you had stayed together as a group for longer. I wish that you had done the planned tour of America and Europe. I LOVE this song! How many times have I listened to it already?
Great Song from Duncan and the boys. They really became a rocking band with him- Love this period of music and song writing!
A special song. A special person. Love Duncan Faure.
A Nice excursion into the world of Heavy Rock
Cool song and great sound. My husband keeps saying, "Who are those guys?" Much appreciated!
So so incredible wonderful, dear Duncan! That's what I call a Christmas song! Thank you for this great gift, I adore it and love to listen to it in the evening, when the sun gets down and the first candles are burning. Greetings from Germany, may your Christmas be bright and blessed! XXX
What a WONDEERFUL Music Movie !! I`m listening this song many many times ! Your music performed . --- It feels magic ! I am thankful to Mr.DUNCAN, You always givining me brightness and shines whith hope !!!
I really loved watching & listening to this!!! Before the BCR/Rollers in my life, there were the Beatles! I think that these guys did a fabulous job at this song!!! Thank you for posting it!!! :D
This was taped in 1981...so he was about 24-25.
It means this was filed while he was a member of The Rollers?
My guess is about 23, 24.
Seriously? That's all I get? I was just wondering why he'd leave that to join the BCR and the video ends? I never heard of Rabbitt and I tried hard to resist the BCR after Les left (I was heart broken) I'm not sure I ever gave Duncan a fair chance, my poor adolecent heart was broken in pieces. So I left them for Leif Garrett and Shaun Cassidy. (ha)
Looks very young. How old was he then?
Johnny Lemmon in a paralel universe ?
I like this song so much :-) thanks Duncan. Greetings from Germany
AWESOME!!!!!! Just wish Eric Faulkner was in the video with the rest of The Rollers!
Wow! He actually sounds & looks like the late legendary ex Beatle John Lennon. Fab & gear video of Duncan with this Beatle Tribute Band & what a cutie pie he is & a fox to. Duncan should think about starting his own Beatle Tribute Band & I know who play George Harrison & Sir Paul.Drum roll please & George could be Woody Woods, while Sir Paul could be Eric. As for their Ringo I have no ideals on that, simply because the best Ringo impersonator Greg George is with Liverpool Legends. Well? Critty200
So cool Duncan!
Make sure you Twtiter your things too Duncan. This is so good! Too much talent to not share in as many palces as possilbe hon.
WONDERFUL! My aunt and uncle just got back from Vegasomn May 4th! Mysister Cathy had gone there many times! I would love to, - but can't afford it with having taken care of my prweiocs Braeden for overt two years. His mother just got out of the hopsital being there ayear and now he is just settling in with her. Hopeflly I'll be able to get to Veagas before I die! I sing and write so you can only imagine how I'd suck in the shows! My sister Cathy tortures me by telling me how great they are!LOL!
Such a beautiful song Duncan...Thank You for Sharing!!! and Thanks for a Great Show last Thursday in Las Vegas...Carmen
I do believe every Dancan fan wants him to do the band again along with musicians like Woody.
Great song. I love the eagle, too!
Karu-ish!
Haven't seen this for a long time. It's always fun looking back and reminiscing. Thanks for sharing it with us all!
Love the Bay city Rollers since I was eleven! Wait that was another great Roller song! Thanks for posting this video.
It's so fun to watch Derek in character, coming off like Tommy Lee, lol. In any videos I've seen, he's so reserved when he plays.
THE ROLLERS- some of the best classic guitar based rock - deserve so much more acclaim
Love it, Duncan!
They were not posters on my wall 'cause I was trying to become my own "sex-symbol" ... BLUSH ... Yup - The Flames, Rabbitt, Johnny Kongos, Manfred Mann, Staccato's, Freedom's Children and others were all used as our own way to luring our own groupies ...
THAT blue Stratocaster! Thanx!
Wow this brings back crazy memories....so funny...yep those were the days...and oh collected those album records and was so proud to own them and listened endlessly to all the music....wow...this really brings back those good old days.
Wow,finally I can see them moving! Thanks for posting.
