My mission is to make Classical Guitar accessible to everyone who wants to learn by providing easy to follow tutorials and lessons so that wherever you are in the world and what ever your musical background may be, you can learn new pieces that you can then share with your loved ones.

Bonjour, c'est un peu tard depuis six ans et vous avez dû passer à autre chose, mais pour le 1er accord, je trouve que c'est plus jazzy de faire un SOL# diminué (4x343x, c'est à dire Tonique, 7bb, 3m, 5). Cordialement
Effectivement je suis passee a autre chose mais c'est tout de meme tres sympa de faire cette proposition, plus jazzy. Si je rejoue ce morceau un jour, j'essaierais votre proposition. Je suis toujours partante pour de nouvelles bossa nova a rajouter a mon repertoire!

Il est toujours bon de travailler toutes les techniques cles de la guitare et les barres en font partie. Dans tous les cas, il n'est pas necessaire de se mettre trop de pression ;) mais la pratique aide a surmonter ces obstacles/difficultes. Bon weekend a vous Lucien!

Je me permet de t'envoyer une petite question. J'ai les carnets du guitariste d'Yvon rivoal, et le menuet de carcassi n'a pas la même fin...il y a une différence avec ce que tu joues...y a t il différentes versions de ce menuet ? Merci
Il arrive en effet qu'il y ait des differences, bien souvent mineures d'une edition a l'autre, souvent liees a une erreur de transcription ou un choix editoriel. Ce tutoriel a ete enregistre il y a plusieurs annees desormais et il etait base sur une edition japonaise. En soit, la fin, revient a la dominante, c'est a dire un accord de Do majeur qui correspond a la gamme dominante de ce morceau, ce qui a tout son sens d'un point de vue composition. Il est tout a fait possible que dans les carnets du guitariste d'Yvon Rivoal il y ait une fin differente (accord augmente ou diminue peut-etre? Sans avoir la copie sous les yeux il est difficile pour moi de savoir quelle est cette "difference" - j'ai les 3 Repertoires du Guitariste d'Yvon Rivoal mais ce menuet n'en fait pas partie). J'espere que cela repond a votre question.

Je ne pensais pas qu'il était possible de jouer du led Zeppelin à la guitare classique...j'etais persuadée que c'était réservé aux guitares électriques ou folkloriques, voire au électro acoustiques ... C'est magnifique, je suis fan de ce groupe...je jouais( il y a de cela 35 ans) de la guitare folk, puis, ne progressant plus, je l'ai posé dans un coin et n'y ai pas touché pendant 25 ans. L'année dernière à 55 ans passés, je me mets à la classique avec un prof, il y a 6 mois j'apprend le solfège et decouvre l'univers classique. Je joue désormais 3 a 4 heures par jour et j'en suis au menuet op21 n°12 de Carcassi...et je m'éclate, comme une seconde jeunesse !!! Merci pour ce partage musical qui me fait vibrer !!!👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️😊
Merci pour ce superbe commentaire tellement positif. Je suis heureuse de pouvoir participer à la découverte que les restrictions de repertoire ne sont pas toujours justifiées. Certes le timbre est différent mais cela apporte aussi un autre charme à des morceaux qui n'étaient pas forcément destinés aux guitaristes classiques. Le répertoire de Metallica est également très très intéressant à jouer en mode "classique". Je vous invite à explorer 😉

Interesting your way to approach arpeggios. First without the 4 fingers (finger 4 doesn´t play in the beggining), just fingers 1, 2 and 3 in right hand. . Only after the finger 4 comes to the party. I´ve never had thought to do this way. Truly good. (I started direct with the 4 fingers, and it was harder to play well)

I haven’t bought a guitar yet, but I want to learn a bit before I do. This is the 4th I’ve watched. I’m currently going through depression and I want to do something about it. I also need a coping mechanism that’s not my Xbox. That’s where the guitar hopefully will come in handy. I won’t be great, I never am, but hopefully I can learn to play it a bit. And be able to take it travelling with me when I can afford to travel
Music has a lot of benefits and particularly playing an instrument. Guitar is not the easiest to learn but it is one of the most rewarding. I would recommend that you start by playing just 5 minutes every day. It's regularity that makes a massive difference. And the more you play it, the more you'll enjoy it and then you'll increase to 10 minutes a day, then 15, 30 minutes, 1h, etc. Do not feel bad if you don't always feel like you're progressing. It takes time to get better and it heavily relies on perseverance. Keep at it and you'll soon reap rewards. Good luck!

Comme je repondais a un autre commentaire, je n'ai pas souvenir que, dans ma jeunesse, ce morceau ai ete populaire en France alors qu'ici, au Royaume-Uni, il passe sans arret a la radio (Classic FM) mais evidemment c'est tres subjectif comme appreciation. Handel jouit d'une aura particuliere au Royaume-Uni et en Angleterre surtout. Excellent weekend a vous Andre!
