A teachers job is to make sure the student knows what they need to know to pass a class. If the student doesn’t show growth, the student doesn’t pass. The idea of a phone is to make calls and contact people from a distance, everything else like CZcams, instagram, TikTok, Mobile games, etc. they all prevent the teacher from doing their job. I like this phone pouch idea but this needs to be paired with higher expectations from the teachers along with higher pay. to make the pouch’s effective enough, the teachers need to have a good approach to teaching. Also I wish I didn’t have a phone as a student cause my attention span suffered immensely and I know y’all don’t have the responsibility to put the phone down either… welp time to put the phone down and ignore all the comments :D
