Been a while since I've dropped videos on Mercy. Planning to do an update overview soon. And got a few cooling and charging upgrades planned for Goldliath as well.

What cam/valve springs/ lifters did you use
At least yours is running I've been low on funds to get transmission replaced or rebuilt have not even fired engine yet
Appreciate it brother. I understand the funds thing. That was half the reason Mercy sat as long as she did. Hope you're feeling better!
Hey there brother, where did you relocate the front and rear O2 sensors on the passenger side?
They are still in the same locations.
@@TekMan05 I couldn't find a high flow cat with a bung in it for my 2000 5.0 on then passenger side so i will have to relocate the O2's in my truck that is why I asked
Also get you a couple metal paper clips. Where they pcm connects look up the wire colors the use the paper clips to stick in wire use those to test with your multi meter. Volts and resistance. That way you don’t cut into the wiring
Hey bro did you ever find out the problem I have the same issue but mine starts everytime. If it doesn’t start with key out turn the wheel to the left until it locks the steering wheel. These years had some weird tricks. So then put your key in unlock steering wheel then start cars. It’s weird but works but still doesn’t take away the code
Explorer one love
I love it
Sounds like you have a mild cam as well
I really want to buy one of these
Sounds dope!!! What kind of headers u have,I got an 99 mountaineer n want 2 do some exhaust upgrade thx
Thanks! Got torque Monster Headers.
Where did you have them Mounted?
Looks like I have a bit of welding to do, after I order some 10 series... I've been chasing this sound!
Hard af to remember where the water pump bolts go
@ Tekman05 so glad to see mercy Grey and Goldliath in the background.....trying to find me a late 90s early 00' explorer with the 5.0 awd....I miss mines even ehough it was the xlt with the 4.0 ohv......nice...congrats on baby girl and may we see more videos soon of Goldliath as well.....was going to ask u last time what will u do if it snows soon
You won't regret getting a 5.0 Explorer. Goldliath is plenty driveable but prepping to restore her starting next summer.
Congrats! On the car and the baby girl!
congrats! Also really good to see Goldliath!! Lets see some new videos on that!
Not a whole lot new yet to report. Been focusing on Mercy ( stang) but getting ready to start prepping for the restoration on Goldliath next year.
@Tekman 05 Any updates on Goldliath and the gt??
I got Mercy Grey ( The stang) running again. Still not done but back to being mostly driveable. Not a whole lot new on Goldliath until I get parts, tools, and supplies to not only fix the accident damage but all the undercarriage as well. It will likely end up being a full on restoration which is why it's gonna take some time over the next couple years to get that massive project cranking.
I plan to get a video update on the stang in the next few weeks to month.
@TekMan05 I look forward to watching the progress with both..I had a explorer like yours same color was a v6 4wd but was giving me problems some power issue and I sold it....looking for a awd v8 like yours or a mercury mountaineer I think I will go.for a explorer idk I love them
All shitty exhaust sounds like shit! You didn't even pass the car with loud exhaust? Make a quiet exhaust that will pass a car. Then I'll be impressed. Oh, did I mean a TESLA that stomps all these?
LMAO shut up old fuck you can't type for shit
I will be trying this out today if the rain stops
😏 *Promosm*
I’m having the exact same problem with my Procharged 3v
That area looks familiar, looks like Gladstone.
mine kinda sounds like that i have a clip on my channel of it
sounds good. Reminds me of my GT
Year on title????
Debería de poner buena luz primero men así no se ve nada
Clean setup
What kinda exhaust set up are you running and we’re did you buy it please any help would be great
Man if I had the money to do all this I honestly might just copy your setup lol
Oooo big cammm
You do know there's a clear button on your obdll reader for turning off the check engine light.
What cam is in it
custom Flowtech Inductions street beast cam.
Tiene x pipe?
If it goes away after u late off the gas it's ring gear if it stays it's axel bearing
Did you run a tune with SCT at this time or take it into a shop. I was wondering because mine is turbo'd and I need a tune for it and wanted to know if a flash tuner like that works or not
I did a remote tune through a guy named Lito. Look him up on the 3v pages on Facebook.
i know this is random, but i definitely just saw you on i70 out in Odessa, and blew the air horn. That explorer sticks out like a sore thumb!
I sure did. Just got back from camping and floating out south. What were ya in?
@@TekMan05 the jackson county rollback! I saw the horse decals on the back and knew!
damn, I love these explorers, my dad had a '00 with a 5.0 and I loved it. My dad's had an x pipe I think, or something like that, it sounded amazing, plus it was comfy as hell. Had to get rid of it because my brother in law totaled it. Will be forever missed.
Check ecm fuse
No disrespect but this is the worst video
I love the sound of your engine man, I'm planning into swaping a 5.0 explorer engine into an old maverick and I want it to sound EXACTLY like this. Once I start with the project I hope you can help me.
Sounds so good 😎 looking for a 5.0 off an explorer for my reg cab ranger stepside have her sitting on 31s plan to look for a donor and keep the donor to restore cause explorers looks beautiful in my opinion
Clean expo man I'm getting my soon
Hey I know this is off topic but I’m building a 94 mark 8, any chance you could tell me the mods your old one had? The one that raced a 350z
This is my street car. Has 4.10 gears, built Trans, 4k billet stall, and in the video it was on a 50 wet shot.
@@codyrobinson3105 you still have it?
@@haydenhale2646 yessir
The startup and idle sounds so damn sexy.
Shame you haven't got around to getting that front clip finished yet. How's the Falkens treating you?
I will be getting around to fixing her up the "right" way sometime next year when I get done with a handful of other projects. I just got the wild peaks today so havent put many miles on them yet. I'll do a video when the first snow comes. ✌🏽
She’s looking good man ! Glad u kept her!
I am too. She'll get completely fixed by this time a year from now hopefully.
sounds like its sloobering on its self , does not sound like its cammed bro , all your doing is making it pig rich
This is an old outdated video. It's actually canmed now and has been since not long after this video was made.
@@TekMan05 not sure why u would want to cam that motor the valves are small the ports are even smaller and the exhaust manifolds are very restrictive they do not flow at all ,ask me how I know ,I have the same motor and I got rid of the heads exhaust and changed the motor completely
@@TekMan05 still running 5.0 but topend is mustang
@@TekMan05 makes 400 hp now
