It's hard to believe X and Mega Man time difference is, If X was awakened 21XX and Megaman 20XX... I don't have any idea how calculate this... I know XX is 20 but why a number before It? What's the meaning of that? I guess how can I discover what it means

I think Megaman X design was more close to the Original Megaman, but I prefer the new design from X2 to the others after

ADA was one nuanced AI. Knowing what she is having semisentience and still following her programming all in one. She's one of my favorite fictional AI characters.

The ending is so....subtle and beautiful , no flashy outros or one liners before screen goes white. Just a cinematic pan out and inspiring music

This was easily a 10-12 chapter game. 9 wasn’t enough to do it justice. We’re sitting until we get ME3

Had to troubleshoot this game for 4 hours and was afraid to close it after I finally got it working and it finally died right at the helicopter crash lol. Shame what they did with the PC port.

I got so lost on the stairway section. I wish this game gave some more indication on where you need to go to progress.

I like how this isn’t even really a boss fight, but rather a survive the boss sequence. It’s definitely a memorable ending.

i first saw this game when i went over to my neighbors house when i wad betwern ages 6 - 9 .im 25 now. He was playing this level, the ending, & couldnt get through it (if theres difficulty settings for this game, pretty sure he played the hardest.) And thats why he could not get past it. However, i aiso remember him fighting anubis, and not running away like you clearly showed is how you beat this last mission. Feels so nostalgic to see this again, and the ending. It was a fond memory. I enjoyed hanging out with this friend, he was a bit older than me, & had similar interests, i looked up tp him, still talk to him from time to time. Thanks for this.

I guess I found a perfect comment in this game of The Mirror's Edge at bay.

This intro and its “20XX” date for the letter hit differently today (2023) than how they did in year 2000, when I first played the Megaman X games. Back then this was cool but pure Science-fiction. Today, it’s still cool, but it feels like it is not necessarily fiction anymore. If the robotics revolution is for real and it advances as expected (or as computers and videogames did) then, something like “X” can indeed happen before “20XX” ends with 2099. I bet no one who played this could have seen that coming on 1993 🤣
