Mike, got mine today. Have a 2024 5ft Taco and had to make slight modification with jigsaw. (Wheel Wells to narrow.) Also added some 550 cord to the lower hooks so not to overextend the tie downs. Otherwise worked as advertised. Thanks
2x8 in the slot of my Ford F150 that Ford designed it for.
Works great until you want full use of your bed, and you've got to take it out or have a 2x8 sliding around. But it's good that you've found something that works for you. Thanks for watching my video!
That is genius. I'm in a wheelchair and still drive my truck with modifications. (Wheelchair lift in the front of the truck bed.) This would be real handy with some minor modifications for me. It's always a pain in the behind dealing with stuff in the bed of my truck.
Hey @fastwheels195 - call me and I'll help with the modifications. My number is on the website: www.truckbedslidestop.com Thanks! Mike
I don’t drive like that.
🏆
Congratulations well done 👏👏👏
Thanks for the support!
MAYBE NOW THE WHINY LIL BIOTCH CAN AFFORD DENTURES. AND A CHEVY.
Very neat and clever!
Thanks. And thanks for the comment!
$250? I just use ratcheting load bars from Tractor Supply at $25. Don’t think that carpet tail will stop the assembly from sliding with something heavy on it like a bundle of roofing shingles. Also the top face has protruding screw heads that would scratch paneling or other finished materials. It may lay flat but it’s not flush.
Glad you found something that works for your purposes and your budget, Peter. On the Truck Bed Slide Stop, they're not "protruding screw heads" but two small, smooth finish hooks, and would be unlikely to scratch anything you put on top of it, but you're right, there's about less than an inch where it doesn't lay completely flat. For most applications, this isn't an issue, and the wise user would be able to easily remove the slide stop from the truck bed before loading delicate or finished materials if there was a concern. Thanks for the feedback. Let me know if you have any questions.
Can I buy this in Canada?
Thanks for asking. We're currently only shipping in the US by default, but if you want to call or message me, I can check on the shipping price to Canada: www.truckbedslidestop.com
Hi this is great! is this available for a Toyota hilux please
The Truck Bed Slide Stop will be approximately 47" wide, which will fit most trucks, but definitely measure the bed of your Hilux and check for the tie down points just to be sure.
$250 ? lol No thanks.
The price includes shipping within the continental US (it's bulky and fairly weighty), and even though it looks like a simple build, it's not made with cheap materials. Each Truck Bed Slide Stop is constructed by me, right here in America. If you want to give it a chance, give me a call. I'd be glad to talk to you about any concerns you've got. Thanks, Mike (www.truckbedslidestop.com)
How am I order this.
Hi Freddie - you can order on our website, www.truckbedslidestop.com
There are plenty of trucks that don’t have slots for 2x 4’s are you kidding me! This is a great invention. And just FYI, if you have a plastic liner in your truck with the slots, that just keeps things from moving to the front. It’s still going side to side and/or under the board when you hit a bump.
94 Chevy doesn’t have the hooks
Great point. Every truck owner will need to measure their truck bed, and check for hook points before purchasing a Truck Bed Slide Stop to make sure it will work for them. I'm happy to help answer any questions if you're unsure. Thanks, Mike (www.truckbedslidestop.com)
It has holes by the stake pockets
Or put an eye bolt in the bed and access the nut from inside the stake pocket
It is out of stock. When will it be for sale again?
Hi Jerry - Yes, I've been making improvements to the Truck Bed Slide Stop and it will be back available in the next week or two. Thanks for asking!
Brilliant! ThankYou
This is the dumbest motherfucker there are different systems that already do this better
Very nice.
That spray in liner from the factory or added afterward is slippery and allows everything to slide around. However, just get a thick rubber mat and believe me, nothing slides around on that, but it does make it a bit harder to push something up toward the front. But also have one of those Keeper adjustable ratchet bars use to stop anything larger and can be used to push items around. This is item is not for me, but others might find it helpful.
Cargo net is easier and much cheaper.
Hey Mike I just received my truck slide stop and I’m lovin it already, thanks for a great product 👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks, Dale. I'm glad you love it.
That price though 😮.

Nice, but too expensive..

Ahhhh, too bad he got a dodge...That's the problem😂😅
A'right, good one. Not that it matters much, but in my latest video I've got a Chevy. And a Ford. Turns out, the brand don't much matter when it comes to the slide. 😅
A product called Last Boks is a better solution
@jasoncharles6980 How does 'Last Bok' fold down for a flat surface, if I end up buying something long, in the spur of the moment?
@@ebenezerwheezer2957 You’re right - they’re different products that have their own advantages.
@@ebenezerwheezer2957 You took the words right out of my mouth. Exactly why the TBSS is a better solution. I'm a little biased, though.
Sorry but that’s very easy to make yourself and not worth buying it.
Good luck!
Lol Its lame, no one is buying that.
@@johnsn10 Hundreds of satisfied customers say otherwise, but thanks for the feedback. Happy to answer any questions if you want to give the Truck Bed Slide Stop a shot. Have a good one, bud.
Where do I buy this?
It's available on my website www.truckbedslidestop.com and Amazon. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to help. -Mike
How likable is this dude???
I've been looking at bed extenders for this purpose, and this seems like a much simpler product with fewer downsides. Also, what a finely produced advertisement!
Oooow, that price point needs to drop a little before I get one.

Yikes. Way to expensive for what it is. I’ll make one or get the OEM bed extender that flips and does the same thing for that price.
I appreciate the feedback. Keep in mind, these aren't mass-produced with cheap materials. They're individually handmade, by me, right here in NC, USA. I hope you find something that works for your time and budget, but if not, give me a call if you want to reconsider the Truck Bed Slide Stop or have any questions. 250 dollars for some "hard rubber" hooks and a piano hinge? I got some carbon fiber laying around and a trip to home depot should save me about 225$

Not gonna stop a AC condenser
Over priced... what crack he smoking I will just make one exactly the same
I wanted to buy it but $250 sheesh. No way. Sorry. I ‘d pay $50-60 max.

To all these people who are commenting how there's a place to put a 2x6 in the slots from the factory why are you watching the video and commenting crap to this man.
Because they can and have the right to comment. Don't like it don't read them!
Curiosity? I use ratcheting load bars at$25. There are a slew of load stop devices running about 10x the price of a couple load bars.
My truck pops wheelies.
I want to go fishing with this gentleman for some reason.…….I don’t even fish
This is genius!
For years they had slots formed into the box you could just cut a 2x6 and stick it across just behind and in front of the wheelwhells and pull it in and out whenever you want.
I f***ing love this man’s energy! I’m buying bush light and pulling up at his house
🍺🍺
Pretty cool, But------ $250 Wow. that is really expensive. bummer :( Maybe create a light duty version for $99

Liked for the intro!
I got excited until was going to order one and saw the price, good God, $250 for a piece of rubber and a Home Depot piano hinge. Good invention but I’ll try a DIY version.

So it took 2 years to figure out how to connect 2 boards with a hinge? I made the same thing with a piece of plywood, a piano hinge, a can of paint, and 2 bungee cords in my first truck back in 1986. It took about an hour and definitely didn’t cost $250.00. This thing is a joke. If you buy this thing, you deserve to be ripped off.
when its laying flat...how do you keep it from sliding all the way to the front of the truck?
There's a tab that fits between the truck and the tailgate. That holds it in place when it's lying flat. Thanks for the question! Let me know if you have any others. -Mike (truckbedslidestop.com)
I have had one for about a year now in the back of my Silverado. Works as Mike says have used it for anything from suitcases, groceries and bags of mulch did not slide or come unhooked. Laid it down and loaded bikes and tables. Great idea and works
This is Awesome! Exactly what I’ve been looking for!!!! I want one!
I own Tacoma.I want to buy it as a special even if I pay more money, but I can't order it from Amazon anymore?!?
