Bought the 80, 90 and 100. Love so much, i don't like nude shades (a lot don't go well on me, it must be really my color but even so i prefer to wear a gloss then). I wanted the lilac, but i saw that the color is not that strong on people like me

So glad you mentioned your ABH MR palette expiring, cuz mine started changed back in 2019 and I still see it in declutters every year, with everyone acting like nothings wrong with theirs! There's no way!

70% isopropyl alcohol also dissolves the glue when depotting eyeshadows! I usually use that instead of heat

these little palettes look perfect for traveling indeed! i generally don't do this with eyeshadows, but i do tend to have a mini work makeup touchup kit that i bring with me, and i like to throw in anything i'm trying to use up like an old eyeliner or powder. if you ever do your makeup on the go, i can see that being a great way to get more use out of these shadows too!

You could have tried to depot the matte shades that you first wanted to safe, but I also heard that JS shades repress really crumbly with alcohol. I love that you are able to let go of old baggage, especially with some conflicting emotions. You could try to safe the magnetic pans for future depotting, its always a hassle to buy extra pans or magnets. I too loved the makeup breakup from kat and hailey.

Loved the video! Great collection ❤ I love to hear and see the love in people's collections. Inspires me to enjoy what I have in my collection instead of always wanting the next and new. I am very pale skin and enjoy my cool toned color stories so much. I never got in to makeup until my late 30s, I am 40 now. Eyeshadow palettes are my favorite and hardest makeup item to let go of.

🩺 FYI about the Fantasy Cosmetica, the new one (Fighter), and the restocked old palettes are magnetic, but the original releases are not. They changed to magnetic pans recently and updated the previous palettes. I bought the Druid palette when it 1st was launched and it's not magnetic. Not a deal breaker for me, but you said you like to rearrange your palettes.

I also dislike orangey coppers! I’m not sure why because I love matte orangeish shades in my crease but the shimmers never wow me for some reason :(

I’ve just subscribed after seeing this fantastic video! Thank you for sharing ❤️ I love frankening shades, and dry pressing mattes is new to me and opens a whole new world of possibilities !

I've been dry pressing mattes a lot lately. I grind with a pestle and morter and then make a mound, and then plop an empty container on top and give it a good press. Then i push another pan or a magnetic sticker into the pressed shadow and push hard. It works like a charm and is done in one go! Downside is it only works for single shadows, not palettes. I'll try your way for a palette and see how it goes.

Something I do to get the corners packed down is I cover the shadow with a tissue and stamp a stiff brush onto it over and over. Seems to help a lot

What kind of alcohol are you using? Like disinfectant that you get from a pharmacy or vodka or something? Medical alcohol(80%) is not available for regular consumers, that´s why I´m asking. Thanks!

I’m so happy you’re back with a new project 🙌 A way I like to use colourful eyeshadow is to put it in my outer corner so there’s a pop of colour, but it doesn’t dominate, maybe that’ll work with the pink?

That's exciting ✨ I think you've missed a lil snippet in your editing software and now the video is longer than it was supposed to be 🙈 that's nothing too bad tho 🙈 The two matte shades from Riviera palette combined could also be an interesting blush shade maybe? Maybe toning down the pink with the mustard-y shade could help a little 😊
