Notice the driver also has a redacted license plate. Yes, rider was traveling over the speed limit. Open lanes all around. However, the driver didn't signal or check. We're both at fault, no need to get upset.

The MT09 is comfortable and a reasonable price. In a vacume I can see why people love it, if you have nothing to compare it to. My personal experience was the seat and pegs were too low. I found the handlebars are really narrow as well. This particular bike has full exhaust and tune. I felt it loses it's legs after 180km/hr. Other than that, I do see why it's appealing as it's great value for t...

This is a 2022 Duke 790. I had a chance to wind it out a few times and take it down a curvy B-Road with a asperously road surface. One of the worst stock suspensions I've ever tried. I didn't get a chance to see if the front is adjustable, but myself and the owner are similar weight. The front end is not composed and twitches too much for me to get comfortable on it. But overall great package. ...

Hello, may I use this video in my upcoming episode? I'll make sure it's watermarked and linked to your channel.
Not a problem
What mpg do you get?
Ha good question, never measured it. With full exhaust and tune...the bike says 54.1km/L which obviously not true. Based on my calculations its about 11km/L (Stock is 21km/L), so approx 175 Km a tank.
Hello One_Reel_Rider,,,can I use this clip in my compilation? Any comment what happened? Thanks
By all means. I was travelling faster than the posted speed, which of course has it's risks. But no signal or check by the driver of the SUV before switching lanes.
Nice Bikes... nice scenery ride... I just got a 2024 CB1000R Black Edition and enjoying it... l8r and safe rides...
Congrats, it's a good work horse you won't be disappointed. Ride safe.
Nice weather to ride
Nice Video 👍
Thank you 👍
I don't know how often you can get away from using the oil pan as a jack point as the weight is compressing/squeezing against the gasket(s)... granted you are only lifting the bike enough to get the rear wheel off the ground... but still a risk and shaky balance act in my opinion.
To be transparent, I do have Pitbull stands. However, this video was to show it can be done safely as demonstrated. Two important take aways are use wood block to ensure your not going to crack your oil pan and do not jack past the bikes tipping point while on the side stand. I hope that many people find this technique useful in a pinch. Thanks for watching.
Hey Evo_SC80, can I use it in one of my new compilations? Credited of course

wait, is it slower than a mt09?!
Good question, I'm not sure. You're not really buying this bike to be the fastest. It's premium and certainly gets a lot of attention for it's looks and premium build (all the machined parts). I can assure you, you won't be wishing you had more power/speed on this bike.
Apparently the topspeed were capped by honda to 250 kph, yeah somehow the CB650R have more topspeed than the Cb1000R
Today I rode a 22 MT09 with tune and full black widow exhaust. I can definitely say out of the box and even tune for tune the CB feels more race ready, it's always eager. It just felt more dialed in. It's certainly got more legs after 160km. Again they don't compete against each other, but after having the privilege of riding the MT I can have this conclusion, but also see why the MT is loved. It's comfortable and affordable.

Pretty sure that Mazda model should have blind spot monitoring too, I think I see a light on the mirror. You really do have to be riding like everyone is out to kill you, sigh.
Also no turn signal, probably didn't even look at the mirror, that person shouldn't have a license.
That looked so easy and you didn’t cause a ruckus and they still have a mirror. Nice
Nice save
Thanks, it was more lucky. I looked down to check my mirror and he was already coming over. I think if we touched I prob would have been fine. Just used it as a service announcement to remember to use blinkers and check twice lol

Good catch bro
Always the SUVs bro, it's either SUVs or Trucks that do this, very rarely does a sedan move to attempt to sideswipe me due to distracted driving. I think it might have something to do with the more roomy interior making them more complacent to the point they get distracted by their phone easier. Call me an asshole but I think EVERY phone should have a feature in it that if you are traveling over 25 MPH the phone just disables all functionality. But on the flip side I will admit I have messed with my phone while driving a car before too, but I ALWAYS ensure NO ONE is around me, and I'm TYPICALLY just pressing 'next' on Pandora to skip the song that's currently on. I know it's not an excuse but even I've found myself drifting in that 2 seconds it took me to hit one button, I couldn't imagine the people trying to TEXT AND DRIVE.... People so enveloped in their own worlds is crazy, acting like no one else is on the planet with them. Driving through Atlanta one day going home to NC I had a red dodge 2500 literally SLOW MERGE into my lane, when I was right beside him, dude didn't look over AT ALL... I bet he just checked his mirror, saw no one, and drifted over slowly. Forced me out of my lane into the median, thank god the car behind me slowed down to let me back in. Defensive driving keeps bikers alive, dumbasses thinking their phones and loud music to deafen the outside world kills us.
Take care ya
It's because soccer moms are driving their SUVs with 3 screaming kids in the back. I swear children cause at least 30% of traffic accidents from distraction
@@ChrisBlagdonIsABoss yeah I agree with Because I always notice. They look away from the eyesight of the road more than 80% in 100%

Love the video. Have to ask what kind of headers are those ?
Black Widow (w/ SC-Project-SC1 slip-on). They were the "cheapest" name brand I could find for around $900. SC Project wanted $2,000. If you go with a decat you'll need a tune for sure. This bike is not easily tuned, hence why I didn't want to go all in on headers.
what are your suspension settings for the track? i find the bike stock too soft for cornering
I don't recall the numbers, but if you check the forums someone made a chart based on weights of riders, which was a good starting point. As an example based on the chart, if the stock settings is like a 2/10, set up for like a 5'2" 120 lb rider, I'm like an 7/10 on that chart for 5'10" 200lb. Also, I ditched the rear shock and running YSS with external nitrogen reservoir. Cheers goodluck.
Hi, been thinking about changing my lines, can I ask if you had to do anything different with the bleeding due to the ABS lines? I have a bleeding vacuum pump so am hoping it wouldn’t be too much hassle. Would appreciate your comments.
Hello, nothing will change as far as ABS/Non-ABS bleeding. Typically the only thing that changes with ABS bleeding in general (cars/bikes) is that you open the bleed valve before compressing the piston for new pads. Cheers.
Thanks for this
How much differens does the dp-killer delete do? Does i become much louder? Too loud?
It's almost unbearable without Db killer. I did a 2hr ride once and that was it, no more. Other riders were passing me because they couldn't stand the noise from behind lol. My personal opinion Db killer out + cat is the perfect noise level. Db + cat is too quite. My current is Db + no cat and it's loud...but tolerable.
@@Onereelrider Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it. So no db killer • cat for me. I dont want a too loud bike, but stock is just too low.
Too risky! If no other choice, perhaps, but trouble prone.
You made my day! Yes, please don't attempt and stay out of the garage. Cheers.
How much does your buddy, who did this run, weigh?
Around 200
Hi, very nice video and informative ! I have a question please. I have a 2019 model and wanted to remove rear caliper bracket (axe shaped silver colored) in order to get it powder coated. I removed all bolts, nuts and Center large Bolt with a 19mm hex bit. But could not pull the axle out (felt very stiff to the pull) ! Is there a safe method to remove it ?! may be by hammering the center axle from Chain side ! Thank you kindly
Good question and sorry I don't have the answer. Possibly loosen the 2 pinch bolts on the hub?
Evo_SC80, I just found your Channel today. 🏍 😺
Hi, great video and will be so helpful when I change my lines over winter. Fascinated by your matching brushed gas tank… did you do it or do you know how it was done?
Thanks. It's a wrap. We did brushed aluminum with Grey pinstripes to match the machining. Cost about $400. Cheers.
Whole reason I came was to see the front sprocket get taken off and put back on but couldn't even see what you were doing from across the garage bro. No hate still appreciate you tryna help people just can't see it.
Ty, yeah was doing it for a friend. I had no intentions of making a video. But basically it was just counting the links, removed the speed sensor, hammering the lock washer flush, then breaking the nut. Cheers, good luck!!
Nice video but the bit of info I was after was the only thing you didn't show. Does the rear sprocket slip over the big hub cone thing? Thanks👍
*forgot to also ask, does the rear wheel need to come off or was that just for clarity? Thanks mate👍
Sorry for the late reply. Yes the sprocket can just slide of the hub. You'll want the tire off as it's easier to access the 2 pinch bolts and adjust the chain slack. Cheers
One is impractical the other is practical.
I rode his bike and with zero bias the CB1000R is better all around imo. Yes his is fast af, but I remember thinking how "cheap" it felt and the tiny TFT was disappointing. Great bike through, just not for me and definitely not worth $20,000 more lol PS I hope mine is the practical one
@EvoSC_80 Yes I agree. 200hp is just so difficult to manage on the street. I seen a video a whole back of a police chase of a honda crv through town and the CRV completely left the cop in the dust. Keep in mind the cop was driving a dodge charger. If it was on a straight road then we know what would have happened; but most roads aren't flat out straight for miles unless you live in the Midwest. The point I'm trying to make is that more power isn't always better. Manageable power wins over maximized power.
Nice bike..good vid
Gotta be the most graceful crash Ive ever seen 😂
Ya never hit a gravel trap before, it did it's job for sure
Have you ever thought about going an extra tooth in the rear for more acceleration? Is that even possible with all the electronics?
I have not thought about it. I'd like to fix the throttle response which was the plan last year to get it tuned through 2wheeldynoworks, but they said they ran into issues with the Woolich afr, now it's a waiting game and just waiting to hear back.
What were the torques used in the video? Where can i find them?
Had to google as it's not my bike. Front Sprocket 165 N-m; Rear Sprocket Nuts 59 N-m
Is this exhaust approved? Can it be registered for road use? Is it legal? Does it comply with Euro5 standards? I really like the sound! I looking forward to you reply!
Oh that's a good question, but I cannot answer the Euro 5 emissions question (I'm in Calgary). However, all aftermarket exhausts (slip on and full) are designated for "track use only". Depends on where you live and how much of an a$$ the police are.
For an exhaust to be euro 5 compliant the maximum sound level has to under 90db which I very much doubt this system is..sounds pretty good though 🏍️💨💨
Thanks for the video
