Solve 2 is an extra because of a misscramble. Original solve was a 7.75. Unfortunately, I misrecognised bad K/K on the last solve and got a bad PBL on the extra, so my 50th NR will have to wait. Cube: Rulomods MGC Square-1 Method: 3-look VDB

2 weeks after beating a very long-standing NR average, I got another good result. It's such a shame that I couldn't beat it again this time - it was totally doable without the DNF or without the PBL fumble on the last solve. This NR is cursed. I had sub-8 BPA in all three sq1 rounds of the comp and yet failed to get NR (8.10) in any of them. This was the closest I got. The PB is nice, but I can't help but feel that I wasted 3 very decent chances. Cube: MGC Square-1 (Rulomods) Method: 3-look VDB

I have been practising clock for a month (taking advantage of new regs, of course) and it's nice to finally have a decent average. There's still quite a lot of potential to improve, though. Cube: QiYi Clock Method: Standard Flip

Nice average. It was a shame that I decided to slow-turn my way through the round because these scrambles had very good potential.
