I think you missed out on the best underdog of the card. Sean Strickland had an incredible Cody Garbrandt level championship performance, but I can't see him every replicating that success. I've got Costa for the upset.
It's been awhile since Costa got in the win column. He's still in his prime for sure. Whittaker put a clinic on him . I am thinking Strickland will do the same thing. There should be different levels in their technical striking. However, I don't think your prediction is impossible, and if Costa does win.. I think it's by TKO. Some sort of kick maybe.. Anyways.. who knows how it could happen, but I"m picking Strickland to win the fight. I do believe that Dustin Poirier is a liver underdog.
@@Rogue_Strummer I didn't realize until after I sent this that the fight was 5 rounds. I think that really limits the potential for Costa. In reality I just don't think that Strickland is as good as he looked in the Adesanya fight and I'm expecting that to continue to get exposed in his future fights.
@@swordcrossing8277 I agree that the 5 round aspect also favors Strickland. I don't think we know exactly how good Sean is, but he has been in there with top level competition time and time again, and was very competitive. Imavov, Adesanya, Cannonier, and Du Plessis.
Checking this out brother.. thanks for putting it together.. I haven't done a whole bunch of research for this, but I'll comment again in which underdog I like on Thursday or Friday.
I am going with "Kopylov" as well. I have a low confidence lean on Romanov to win. Based on the odds, the fight looks much closer than what is implied to me. Romanov was taken down four times by Espino, but I think he's been improving overall since then in terms of fight IQ and comfort level on the big stage. Romanov for sure is gonna be the better striker, and I will not be surprised if he finds a way to get on top of Jailton at some point.
Heavyweights are extremely hard to predict. Both of these guys love the submission, but you can see from their records that K.O.'s are not out of the question. The fight can be extremely one-sided and then BAM, someone is out cold. I like Jailton in this fight personally, but I do agree that the book odds are probably skewed and the better bet might be on Romanov.

A computer cant predict an outcome of a fight between 2 humans. Silly channel
It can definitely predict them, and we are hoping that it does better than a coin flip. LOL! Keep an eye on the channel over the next year or so, you may just be right.
