Kia Soul Review - The Korean Mini?
Kia's Soul hatchback hoped to be a cool and trendy city car, an economical MPV, and a rival to the Nissan Juke all in one.
Its cool styling, impressive extras and tech, and ample interior space, should have made it a desirable car for the young and middle aged alike.
Instead it was lapped up by the elderly.
Join Tony as we explore the Kia’s style, performance and decide weather it’s the Korean hot hatch, or a taxi to the nursing home.

MK4 Ford Mondeo Review, Is It Still Worth Buying In 2024?
dont buy ep3 because it doesent have enough buttons 😂
Did you just change the title of the video? ... to 2024 ? hahahhaa
Without doubt it was and still is a great looking car. As the man said the clutch slave cylinder can be a costly repair though as I discovered.
So nice to hear that you are talking about 200 and 700 series not just saying 240 and 740 😄👍🏻
That is the engineering we need to see more of
Har en 1991 745 med 50000mil(310685mi) på mätaren vilken bil.
Me personally, ep3 looks more clean inside and more tidied up and overall better and straight to the point without shit tone of buttons and such, but just me ig
Bought a pristine 2002 Rover 75 Connoisseur SE here in Australia….and at 22 years old I was convinced it was untapped modern classic….judging by the attention and interest it gets at car meets (disappointingly very little), it tells me it will never be classic at least not in this country…..that’s why they are so cheap and affordable, nobody wants them. Time to ditch it and get something like a Jaguar that people still recognise and a brand that still has street cred.
What I be able to somehow connect Bluetooth to my phone for music
Is this the case with the v50 volvo?
I believe Rover was deserved to have second chance to live more than MG. Anyway to see video about Alfa Romeo 159 soon on your channel ! I hope so . I like your videos.
Copy HiPhi X which was released 3 years ago, Mercedes are copying HiPhi X!
Sorry ep3 all day long
Haha i got an s2k after someone wrote off ky fn2 so agree
On my second one - best car we ever owned by far.
Already wanting a second one here 🔥
Always owned sierras then mondeos nothing less than a 2.0 recently got a mk4 estate 2012 2.0t still can give the Germans a run for there money😂
No i do czego jest to potrzebne kierowcy, chyba tylko zeby mieć złudne poczucie bycia kims lepszym, bo moje auto ma taki gadżet.
If u don’t know how to pronounce the name don’t call it a citron= lemon ….nobody is calling u cauliflower..
You don’t know that
Not as light and fast then EP3's, its good enough of its own power
My Dad's got a Black 2003 Connoisseur Diesel 80k on the clock , I'm an ex BL mechanic and AA Patrol, I've always loved them as soon as they were released. I used to love winding up Jag drivers " Is that a Rover 75"... I will take it on after Dad and cherish it . Ps I can only recall probably two I attended broken down in 33 years, apart from a flat battery, and I can even remember the faults Sticking fuel pump the small scavenge one under the bonnet, and a V6 that just came out of a garage after cam belts changed and it had snapped the belt !!
Being a mechanic is always handy, good to hear they don’t break down too much, it means they’ll stay on the road for many more years 👌
Have a 2.5T one. Have spent a lot on repairs at 100k miles, approximately 1500 pounds. With age comes problems and would hate to know what a new exhaust system would be with two catalysts on my car. Saying that she drives beautifully and is a motorway cruiser that still goes like a whippet around a track.
Got a 2013 titanium x 34000 thousand miles on the clock, wife asks if I want a new car, why.
No honda engines here.
No, just a presenter with a tail between his legs
I’m in North America, and I wish we had the MK4 Mondeo here… I love the design.
Still use my MG ZT daily, had it 20 years, bought it new, Never let me down, Love it
I still need to drive a ZT 😫
Excelente .... en busca de uno de estos "iconicos" .... sobrealimentados..... saludos Pablo Argentina SUSCRIPTO
Ep3 is looking dated
I really love my r53 Parklane, it is so much fun, it has still some features that are not standard on the newer models, like front window heating and the mirrors. And it’s like the car start to laugh when you drive in corner of the speedway with 100km an hour, or faster, and other cars slow down. But maintenance can be costly.
Owned one. My advice: Don't buy it!
You can have bad luck with any Car Brand.
@@novell80 True, but this one is 100% a money pit
@@GlossaME Why bro?
@@novell80 ask 10 Mondeo owners, they'll tell you "why"
@@GlossaME Then which Car Brand is reliable in your opinion?
Anyone gonna tell him it’s a hatchback not a saloon?
I hope not, merging on to the highway with a short ramp was only slightly safer than Russian Roulette. Hated the 92 we had growing up black on black, na, auto. If the yellow jacket was going extinct I wouldn't miss them either.
None of us will live forever, die in a 740!
I had a 2011 Mondeo 1.6 diesel. I bought it as a 8 month old car with 1500 miles on the clock as it was a demo car. I kind of regret selling after 2 years ownership of it. Especially when I just done a MOT check on it and on its last MOT it had covered 200k miles. Only bad thing I could say about it the air conditioning could never get ice cold. Even after having it regassed. But in the time I had it. It never had any issue.
I've owned a 2003 Rover 75 Tourer 50mpg since 2007 My wife got a 2004 MG ZT in the same year. 50mpg We still use them daily . Compared to folk paying £500 per month for lease package we have calculated 500 x12. = £6000 per annum over 17yrs = £102,000 each That's £204,000 we've saved ⚠️⚠️ That's not including all the deposits and balloon payments we've saved 😅 Our maintenance bills averaged out have been no more than £500 per year. We have 4 luxury holidays per year instead of owning new cars. Happy days we are literally laughing all the way to the bank and still driving in pure luxurious comfort £££££ 💜💜
Luxury and saving money, that is the life!
All of them have their place!
If the 75 had a Honda engine, Rover would still probably be going now.
Painfully true
FN2 was on the runout car when I joined Honda of the UK Manufacturing at Swindon in 2011. Most of the Engineers there preferred the previous model EP3 and praised its handling over the FN2. EP3 had independent rear suspension. I was lucky enough to drive an early Japanese Spec EP3 with 225 BHP, crazy car for its time
No V6 honda engines in fitted to the Rover 75 (Code Named CB 40) only the Rover KV6 2.0 litre & 2.5 litre and 1.8 K Series of course. I designed some of the Body Press Tooling for these back in 1996 in Cowley Oxford. The Tool & Body Design Department closed in 1998. Design Engineers no longer needed 😳😥
That’s amazing, how did you feel about the tooling going to china?
Nice looking car, reliable and quality materials,i love it!
I love my fn2. Had it less than a week, though. So, early days.
The Rover 75 or its MG stablemate makes a good buy today as any earlier build or reliability issues have all been fixed
We maintain it’s still of the best saloons you can buy
Had one in exactly the same colour and interior but a manual 745 carburettor in 92.
Very cool!
Люблю свой Вольво 740 универсал! Владею им не так много, всего 3 года и определенно никогда не продам!❤
If the 2008 Bentley Continental GTC is a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster, the 2008 A4 Cabriolet is a Squier.
😂😂
i have owned both. Fn2 for a daily 100% EP3 for a weekend toy.
I literally just picked up an 04 CDTi 75 today and driving it home i was surprised how refined and well mannered it was. I too also felt a little sad. Difficult to explain really, maybe its because i grew up with Rovers in my youth even as i worked for British Aerospace when they owned them and i remember seeing the car park (and all the managers who had company cars) full of Rovers. That employee discount scheme was to die for. Ahhh the good old days.
It keeps up well with todays cars, it must have been amazing at release
I really enjoyed this video! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
So that cliff ledge is actually perfect for holding a phone with a vent magnet. I love it. Actually great design but for unintended reasons
I love that
Привет, спасибо за обзор, ровер. 75 очень крутая машина уже ежу 19 лет❤
Keep it going!
I would love a high spec Mondeo from that era, I really would. If I could find one for around 3k I'd bite someone's hand off.
im selling mine pal mondeo titanium x business edition top spec, 2011 silver
MG TF's were produced way later, stop spouting rubbish about this being Britain's last mass produced car. Also the 75 was never seen as a flop so no need for the ''so bad it killed rover''.... Just clickbait that's all.
And you clicked.
