27 years after 1997, we are about to have an even larger Labour landslide in 2024
This is such a good documentary
Bertie is a Liar. The way he treated Reynolds is unforgivable.

Siskel is so off base. Great movie, thrilling action, and in real life- hello?!- kids are in peril all the time. This movie is now a classic.
It's just resoundingly stupid to say that Margaret Thatcher was treated roughly in her deposition. Basically her cabinet said they did not have faith in the direction of the country or her ability to get things done. She didn't deserve any special treatment and she fell like many other British leaders have fallen over the years. Look at how England rewarded Winston Churchill. Thank you for winning the war and goodbye. 😊
Is John Major the only British premiere that was never in college or university? I did not know that about him and it makes me like him quite a bit more although our politics are very different.😊
I don't have much in common with John Major politically or share the same country of birth but I had a childhood full of the kind of surprises like John Major had. Up until the age of 13 I thought that me and my sister were the only kids of my parents and then found out there were three other half brothers and sisters out there and that my mother had been married four times. Also at some point discovered that my father was just my stepfather and a slew of other crazy discoveries.
Peter Jackson out of his mind as usual. Why on earth wouldn't Sauron himself defend his own land? if the crowd doesn't get it, then let Aragorn and Gandalf have a discussion about it before the fight.
Criminal
In case anyone was wondering, Ebert did give Aliens 3.5 out of 4 stars in his print review. He did so because he said the film was indeed a very intense action/sci-fi film as advertised, but he again warned in his written review that the film may be way too intense for some people.
thats true the screenplay needed further crafting. if Robert Duvall was casted it would have helped the movie considerably. overall a 3 star movie !!
1:00:30 That statement sums up Britian perfectly!

I remember being a kid of 10yrs old or so looking at the various intrigue on the news from this time...i was thinking these are all snakes looking to improve their own situation
this asshole almost ruined seifeld
he really screwed up the last episode
What a leader. They don't make them like this anymore, and more the shame for it. RIP Maggie and thank you for your service 🙏
Not as good an interview as the 2002 interview. That interview was brilliant. Interviewer talking far too much and over the top of PJ
In the UK, once a prime Ministers leave Office, they are no longer Prime Minister or Mr or Mrs Prime minister. Most get hounded by the King or Queen, for example John Major is Sir John. If he had become a Lord he would of been Lord Major.
Hounded? I think you might have meant 'knighted'. Though it would be hilarious if they were hounded by the King...
Charlie Haughey autobiography by any chance love the video 👍🏼
mr Tony blair yes war are not good at all,war in iraq
No wonder the UK is in the state it is in when you look at the comments below. It is made clear in the latter part of the documentary that the Kinnock leadership accommodated itself to Thatcherism and Blair continued that process with even more enthusiasm. Now what we see around us is the result of Thatcherism: the majority of people now struggling to pay rents on properties that they have no long-term tenancy on, no chance of affording a home of your own, a semi-privatised NHS which will only decline further, and shit being pumped into water. At the end of the day, you can rail against Benn all you like, but he was opposed to this ideology and was prescient about what the outcome would be. Be good Tories and adhere to that oft declared Tory principle: take some personal responsibility. If you voted Tory, voted Blair and voted for the Tories since 2010, then it is your fault the country is in the state it is in.
She was perfect for the role. I agree with Roger Ebert. ❤️ Godfather 3 was a fitting part of this trilogy (albeit for different reasons) and deserves its place in cinema history alongside the first two. 🔔🔔🔔
Hilarious to see the utterly inconsequential figure of William Hague --- one four Tory leaders chewed up and spat out by Blair -- speaking as though he himself was a great statesman

Godfather III needs to be seen. It has its' own good qualities and does offer an end to the story. The death of Mary Coroleone and Michael's reaction is so memorable and heart crushing. Sofia's portrail is more subtle; a 2nd generation Italian-American that loves her family, but is more American, perhaps distracted by other interests other than the business or the family. Anyway, this movie has good music and other good attributes. Yet, maybe AL😢 Pacino carried the movie.
A fraud and a liar, Him , Flynn, Mara totally untrustworthy. He was decent to ordinary and was a Joey's boy, Give me Jack Lynch every time.
Eleven years later, James Cameron makes the movie to end all movies -- in which, inexplicably, a Predator, a Terminator, and a Xenomorph all end up on the Titanic on her maiden voyage.
Vincent called out the bluffers andblatant liars in our political establishment 😂
great man
