I'm extremely sorry sir that I'm coming across this lecture two years later, but I couldn't understand the meaning behind the cross, the nullification and the pause between the lines "To tell you all" and " That is not what I meant at all" Is Prufrock as the modern Zarathustra not being able to convey the wisdom of his experiences? Is that why he says " that is not what I meant at all"? Also is there a connection between how he struggles to bring himself to express and deal with whatever difficult yet important issues he wants to deal with but procrastinates due to anxiety, and how he struggles to articulate his wisdom to the masses? Could his wisdom also be the reason behind his hesitance? Great lecture sir. Very enriching, answered a lot of doubts with the lines.

Sir i didnt understand the portion where you're relating kubla's prowess to a control over time in impregnating space. Like is the pleasure dome a symbol,culmination of what's his years of perseverance and success have reaped. How he has utilized time(thus controlling it) to maneuver to gain success which is gaining hegemony and conquering which in turn could be interpreted as invading lands and imposing one's monument of victory on it,into it. To establish one's hegemony? Utlising/exploiting/penetrating the land conquered to install one's symbol of hegemony which he wished would stand the test of time much like his dream of his empire?
