How To Make Vegetable Soup Using Ingredients Bought For Just 10pence! In this recipe we should how to make a vegtable soup using our Morphy Richards Clarity Soup Maker. Don't worry if you do not have a soup maker as this recipe (just like all soups) can be cooked in a saucepan or even a slow cooker. I was happy with the consistency of the soup - it didn't need any additional water.

this soup maker is obviously not made with Jamaicans in mind because we don’t want our oxtail gungu peas , hard food and dumplings mash up
Great see-through pot, mine is made from metal but same brand 😊
Ah yes my sister in law has one with a metal pot.
Great video. I just picked one up at the charity shop. How long does it take
Around 19 minutes 😊
Nice one,looks good.👍

Avec le bloc transparent on vois ce qui se passe qup😮
I got one of these and I'm thinking of doing roasted veg in the air fryer, while I have potatoes cooking in the soup maker and when both are done, chuck in the roasted veg and just use the blend function. Also curried spiced cauliflower and coconut soup is very good too.
Great idea 💡 😊
Curried parsnip or butternut it tastes amazing
I have a soup maker that has been sitting in the box in a cupboard for 2 years bought as a gift. Not anymore I have made Veg,lentil and bacon, tomato and chicken & sweetcorn, I drop in the ingredients including the stock cubes about 1.4 ltrs of water and 👅.
I just bought one! Can you do a cream type soup?
I've never made a cream soup but if I am correct, it goes in near the end? If so, it might mean stiring it in at the end or back to the hob for a few mins 🤔 I'm not sure though.
@@thehumblecook3533the cream goes in when the soup is cooked, just blend two seconds 😊
@@schumi145gaby2 of course! I read the comment differently! Thanks!
Just got myself this soup maker, made broccoli & cheddar soup. The only thing I found was that it cooked and blended perfectly but before serving I added some creme fraiche and the cheese and then used the blend button in short bursts but it kept cutting out. I had to switch off and back on then blend again but same thing happened every time. Got there in the end and lovely soup. Love a good carrot and coriander too. Might also try a lentil soup and I love soups with meat in but it does say do not put raw meat in, only add cooked.
Good to hear thay you enjoyed your soup. My own preference is to add the cheese after and let it melt - have a good old spoon around as it melts - but as I say, just my preference.
@@thehumblecook3533 I'm not adverse to adding cheese afterwards as well ;-)
I'm buying one of these for myself for Christmas. My favorite soup is lentil. I make it with small red lentils and with curry.
Thanks, can't wait to buy mine as a tin of Heinz soup is now £1.75! Top tip: an anchovie can provide a healthier dose of sodium. Great vid.
Where did you bought that machine to blend the soup.❤
Think it was from Amazon (my son bought it for me as a present)
Soup is my favourite thing to make
Excellent. Answered all my questions on how to use it. Thank you
I like the see through jug 👍soup looks yummy
I don’t know why I found this so mesmerising to watch lol
Nothing like watching a soup maker do it's stuff :)
Haha, I did too actually. Went well with this man’s nice, calming, soothing voice.
nice one👌, I freeze herbs too I think a great idea.
Wish shops were this cheap.
Looks nice but wouldn’t,t have blended it so much, like a bit thicker and to look like a meal, bet it,s good though, love veggie soup.
Thanks, I've got an idea for a meal type of soup too soon :)
The soup maker has the option to do smooth or chunky so you can choose.
Looks yummy 😋
1) tomato & basil 2) carrot & coriander 3) leek & potato
That reminds me, I need to make a carrot and coriander. Which then leads onto curries if I buy it fresh to use up the coriander. Or even Mexican:)
Great video but can the music be quieter next time? Thanks 🥰
Its a balancing act :) but yes will do if commentating on next vid :) thanks for comments :)
Thanks for the upload, enspiring for a novice soup maker that I am at present & hoping to overcome & your video is helpful. Many thanks for your efforts.
Glad it helped and thanks for commenting :)
Homemade soup is so much better than tinned. Just remember to season really well and add as much flavour as possible with good stock, herbs etc.
Me too, being bloke i'm a total novice at cooking, recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabeties and also need to lose weight, my diabeties is pretty much under control though through medication which they want me to come off and control with diet and try and lose weight, I this video has given me to confidence and encouragement to try soups, you can litterally bung anything in and you know what your eating, thank you for your very straightforward video
@@tompirozek4490 Good luck Tom, I am also type 2 and have struggled for years with my weight and have now ended up on insulin injections. I hope you can beat it early, something I wish I had done and then hopefully you won't end up on tons of meds. If you get this soup maker it's ok but the blend function is a tad touchy and won't always work for long. I usually do smooth soups but the one time so far I tried chunky the machine cut out as it couldn't cope! It is simple to just do in a stock pot on the stovetop and then blend with a stick blender but the advantage of a soup maker is that you can throw everything in and walk away and leave it to do it's thing.
Good soup like this is the way forward when times are hard like now - great video please more?
A year on and I think times are even harder now. Did you get one @Mike_5 and if so what do you think? I’m looking out for one in the charity shops around here. Take care. David
Do you have a recipe for cream of onion soup pls?
I don't :) But let me think about onion and possibly mushroom soup (separately of course :) )
Thank you so much
Thanks .keep posting
Thanks, more content coming soon to the channel :)
Looks good, I hadn’t thought to try packs of soup mix veggies, will have a look out for those. I don’t bother making the stock up, on my soup maker I use 500ml of cold water as per instructions and I just crumble the stock cube on top of the veggies. I guess when the blender kicks in it will all combine. Thanks for sharing.
My favourite soup is leek and potato. Great vid :)
