Also I like the detail that evil Morty now has a somewhat deeper tone to all the other Morty’s, you can really see how much more mature he is than really anybody in the show

This scene is a great example of why I think Rick and Morty has some of the best writing in Tv today

Why was this just the episode 5 of the season?

I would really like to see a scene showing what would've happened if Rick got to live a life with his family. Like, it could be something like Rick or Morty finding a universe where Rick was never contacted by any other Rick and either chose his family over science or made it a career/passion and kept his family as his priority. Or maybe time travel gets involved towards the series finale and the show ends with them going back in time and kill prime Rick before he shows "infinity" to other Ricks. Which causes every other Rick to not discover dimensional and live regular lives. Except for maybe our Rick, who has to choose between potentially following in Prime's footsteps or just simply letting everything be and live out the rest of his life as a father and husband, which gives the smith family a regular life. Which all circles back to what Rick Prime said "Would our Rick have stepped into Prime's backyard if he didn't do it first?" The reason this would be important if he does, is that it would mean that the true story of Rick and Morty is a time loop of tragedy caused by one man's god complex ruining the life of another's. But if he doesn't. It would be really cool if Morty discovered Rick's experiments after his death and actually tries to make the world, and maybe even the multiverse, a better place.

The new VA for Rick really cooked here. The fact he was able to convey a different emotion for C-137 and for Rick Prime. I didnt notice that these two were voiced by one man at first till i watched this. Well done indeed.

The layers in this scene Mann. What I found special about Prime was, 0, absolutely no regret, remorse, or sympathy. He was laughing until he was dead. Is it satisfying killing someone who doesn't care if he dies?

I was to high when I watched this episode. Completely forgot he died and watched every other episode waiting for his return.

I love that even Prime seemed thrown off guard by E.Morty pulling Rick’s “corpse” into the room. Despite all his talk, he did NOT know where that one was going for a good second there.

Is it just me or did the voice acting become significantly better after they replaced Roiland? Like the dramatic moments in this season hit way harder because of the voice acting alone.
