This is a small portion, the pit went wild of course and I decided to get involved in that rather than holding up my phone. Shikari are just immense live and I feel very luck to have caught them doing a gig with not only Cody but also Wargasm. I didn't get that recorded though as I was too busy dancing

KTM Robbery The Return.avi

So after 35 minutes the robbers returned to my garage complete with bolt cutters to steal my hard earned KTM EXC motorbike. This occurred at 02:20AM on Tuesday 29th May in Dunston Gateshead. I'm offering a £1,000 reward for the safe return of my bike along with the names of the robbers. The bike will not be worth that much to these theives, I'd rather have MY bike back and see these scumbags pa...

My Bike stolen from Dunston, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear at 2:20AM 29th May 2012 This is the CCTV footage with the robber's face. I have the second video to follow shortly where they return 40mins later with bolt cutters. The robbers could live in Newcastle as they tried to nick it first at 1:38 then realised it was chained with an Abus Citadel chain and lock so came back at 2:20 with massive indust...

I love the garden. Are they still living there?
They are still living there, yes. Garden has gotten even better too. They've just started a new project a few miles away. Some land in the country surrounded by nothing hut farms and hills. Planning to build their retirement home there with a Air B&B type holiday cottage next door.
Hi mate, is this your clip? If yes, can I use it in a moto compilation? Of course, full credits in the video and description.
Sales agents as usual have terrible ties, why why why!
Abus might as well used a curly wurly chocolate bar rapper .. made from the same tin foil metal...paid the price for shit security!!
Very nice job!! Love the house...it’s gorgeous!
it really is common sense, lock it up, alarm it up, and out of sight PROPERLY...or loose it....your ignorance is your own fault...
It's arrogant to think that everyone has somewhere "out of sight" to put it. As you can see I clearly did not have an out of sight place to put the bike and was building one at great expense at the time. Garage was nearly finished but were waiting on the doors to arrive. I had a large fence around my property that you can see in the picture and had the bikes covered which were uncovered in the first video. "I can see your wallet sticking out of your pocket so it's mine as you should have kept it out of sight." Sounds like your morals are spot on mate. Also if you keep a motor vehicle inside your house rather than garage it invalidates your home insurance.
Leon Thompson hardly arrogant, it took seconds to take it,... why's it not locked up to the hilt and alarmed... the bike got stolen because the owner was ignorant of the risk ... youngsters love dirt bikes ..- increased risk=. more effort needed on security... common sense, simple.... bike got knicked because owner allowed it to be taken through lax security
Did you watch the previous video? It took them 45mins. Had a geet massive chain on it and CCTV!
W P I just seen this... I had a garage, with a door! But it was broken into several times before this and I had a lot stolen. This garage was built to replace my other garage but in the process the other garage had to be knocked down. Imagine if my house didn't have land to put a garage on. Lots of people live in houses that open to the street and no garage. Should those people never be allowed a bike? You think k if there was an alarm on it would have made a difference? The massive chain didn't seem to stop them so I don't think an alarm would either. Crooks always find a way
Hello Leon could i use this in my compilation please? Youll get credits in the description and comment section

trip wire and 12 bore shotgun cartridge rigged up to fire at them .
Just curious about the trend of black kitchens in Britain...
Was this in the UK?
Yes mate, Dunston, by the Metro Centre near Newcastle Upon Tyne
Thanks. May I use it in a compilation about bike crime?
What's the compilation for bud? TV or private or something else?
Just my youtube channel
Sure go for it mate
it wasn't a case of seeing the light, it was a case of affordability. I live on a cul-de-sac in Whickham now and all the neighbours are pensioners so a lot more secure. Unfortunately the house cost so much that now I'm skint so have no toys to nick! Took me years to save to move here and after this bike was stolen I had another motorbike stolen from elsewhere and then our house was robbed so I didn't have the best luck while living in Dunston :-S
You still in the same corner house in dunston now or did you see the light and move?
what kind of chain was that ? a cheap piece of crap that can be cut with bolt cutters in a second or two ... you need to invest more money and get a proper chain that will resist any bolt cutters , it will set you back around 150 pounds and they'll need a powered angle grinder with a spare disc , the noise will wake up the entire neighborhood ...
It was a £120 Oxford Chain and Lock mate through ground anchor.
Very nice job they did
should have got an alarm .silly billy!
A few years ago my m8 kept banging on about his wonderfully bike lock it was a thick one and his insurance said if the bike ever got stolen they'd pay his excess basically guaranteeing the lock and my bolt cutters went through it like a hot knife through butter he was well shocked
You was asking for that mate leavin your bike on show if them kids dint take it sum1 else would ov so u would ov lost it anyways lol kid sees ktm in front garden first thing thats guna run through his head is AM HAVIN THAT TONIGHT thank u very much
Did they steal it or not
This is why cameras aren't enough, concealed motion censors with ear piercing alarms are cheap these days... Combined with a Remington 870 loaded with bird shot, or 00 buck if you live in neighbourhoods were thieves have courage.
So... Where's the CCTV footage to the burglary?
I never uploaded it mate as the guy featured in the burglary who catches the lads while one is in my kitchen gave one of them a bit of a kicking and doesn't want it uploaded. The stuff on Caught Red Handed on TV missed that bit out.
As they slowly move away the cover they realise it isn't a bike, but the owner sporting 2 very large bats.
a 12gauge alarm mine. they take a 12g blank so are VERY loud!! put the tripwire round the bike wheel, so if someone attempts to move the bike, the wire is pulled and sets off the blank, which will alert you and every person in a 1/2 mile radius!! i have one, you only forget to remove the tripwire ONCE!!
If they took my KTM they would leave with one of my bucket rounds too
You might want to change your description to reflect the fact you had insurance, I simply have no sympathy for uninsured drivers since we were hit by one a few years ago, the fucker didn't have a licence either. Always go for at least 3rd party fire n theft, pay monthly if you have to, I didn't even know insurance company's still did 3rd party only, a lot won't sell it anymore.
How does that mean he isn't insurance doesn't cover it you bellend
Not insured for theft. I wouldn't have a road registered bike and be on the road without 3rd party insurance which covers damage to other vehicles if i hit something. It costs a lot more to cover my bike for theft and I couldn't afford that at the time. Also I would be perfectly feasible for my to have a dirt bike in my garage for off-road use only and that wouldn't need to be insured at all. I don't tho as I go green laning.
You state in your videos description that you weren't insured.
I'm pretty sure theives are worse CragScrambler cos they steal the bikes AND ride them without insurance. Seems that you have it in you head that I wasn't insured to ride but I was. I had 3rd Party insurance as that's all I could afford so I was covered for riding on the road but not for theft. My car was hit by an uninsured driver once on Xmas eve a few years ago, they drove off and got away with it cost me hundreds to repair so i hate uninsured drivers. Karma not working for me ATM.
CragScrambler: No, where'd you get that idea from? I only passed my test a matter of months earlier so I had 3rd party insurance as is required by law which was still about £500/year or something daft but this means I'm not covered for theft as I couldn't afford the fully comprehensive insurance which was double the price of 3rd party. I wouldn't dare even ride/drive down the road without Tax, MoT and insurance. If karma did exist I'd be doing a lot better than I am right now!
Only one thing worse than thieves and that's cunts riding around without insurance
So he was riding about without insurance and some cunts came and nicked it? Karmas a bitch huh.
Fancy leaving your bike there like that you tool
hey man where about is this?
Almost a year has passed since this and now that my security has improved the scum have moved on to breaking into my house for keys. A few hours ago 2 men kicked my kitchen door in and smashed the large kitchen window and jumped into my house looking for keys we think. Time to rethink my house security. Luckily a passer by heard the window get smashed and came to the rescue managing to call the police and restrain one of the blokes until the police got there. I'll get the CCTV uploaded soon
Never got it back. The lads that did it were arrested then let off cos they didn't have the bike but I've heard off several different sources that it was them and the bike went to Chopwell in exchange for drugs. A couple of hours before you posted this I've just been burgled too!
U need a guard dog man, very sad hope u got it back.
I just baught one of those, and a few cable locks.
The anchor I have can't be removed mate and I have improved on my security. Thanks for the advice though.
'Fraid not. Total loss. I've since been told that the bike's in Chopwell after being exchanged for drugs by the first people the police arrested then let off since they didn't have the bike at their own houses at the time.
did you get bike back from these cunts leon?
I haven't got a TV:) my bike was an old and rusty one, not worth anything, but still. I was using it for transport and bike rides, etc.
I was speaking to a bloke who had his KTM chained to the wooden railing outside the flats on Rose Street telling him about this and that he shouldn't leave the bike there. Shame that's the world we live in. I've not found it but I have it on good authority that the lads that nicked it were from the teams and they sold it to some dodgy characters in Chopwell. Incidentally 11AM BBC1 Weds 13th March 2013 (this Weds) it's being shown on a show called "Caught Red Handed", tune in and c me act! haha
Have they found it? My bicycle was stolen in Teams, it was my own stupid fault (I lived in a flat, and was planning to go somewhere on it later, so I only chained it to the rails in front of the flat, and then didn't go anywhere, so left it out for the night), but still.
im just gonna go camp beside my bike now...feel bad for you man
Cunts!
motion detectors are available for $20 with radio remotes in local hardware stores.
fucking scumbags
big dog mate, its the only way to keep your bike safe
