What’s your thoughts on putting a little effort into sealing it up with some outdoor caulk? I feel like it wouldn’t be too difficult to make it a good shed.
I’m sure that would help but I found a better shed for less money made by Lifetime, and the caulk wouldn’t help from the roof blowing off in a strong wind

Damn bubba…don’t let taking off the old antenna whoop ya…that was 1/2 the video 😆.…also, it’d be slightly helpful if you’d toss out what size 🔧 needed for the job? U did say, “let me know what u guys think”…🥴…just busting 🏀’s. I just bought a similar antenna off of Amazon as well…it’s not quite the same one but it came with 9 different adapters and you’ve got the same model truck as I do so you showed me what I needed to know. I bought these for my 5.3 build. Wouldn’t even throw a spark. I was using factory harness but I should have gotten something. Threw on factory coils and started right up. Did you run into this issue?
That’s strange, no issue here. I did use the supplied harness though
sucks, you get your money back but you can't get your time back that you could have used on another project

Weird I just got a 7x7 and it looks like it's been improved a bit. Is this the big max? Still going to insulate it with foam I think. Storing an ebike through the winter hopefully thats warm enough.
We ended up getting a Lifetime brand from Samsclub for a couple hundred dollars cheaper and it’s 8x8. Way better for limiting water and weather intake.

Do you think a 10.1 inch display double din would fit or should I stay with a 7 inch ?
All the ones I’ve seen that were larger than a typical double din usually have a single or double din housing, I think there is room for the screen in front of the Metra kit

Hello, I wanted to ask a question because I am already desperate, I bought a tailgate camera for my 2007 silverado, I connect it to the radio and it tells me that there is no signal, I don't know what to do or if it is some problem with the settings on the radio...thank you
Have you checked to see if the camera is getting power? I haven’t seen that error before
If it has power, because I removed the camera that comes with the radio and connected it to the tailgate and it tells me that there is no signal, perhaps it is a problem with the adjustment of the settings in the radio of the resolution of the camera or that it came broken, I already know I wrote to Amazon and they will send me another one to check.

Yes, I usually see/feel a difference just using the power stop brakes. Now since I went larger I’m not sure if that made a difference also. But def recommend it
hey I was wondering if you happen to know if all bulbs on that are replaceable like that... have an 02 s10 been plaguing me well passlock got me and the dam bulb is burned out only way I was able to find out buddy lent me his tablet... wouldn't of been able to do a reset without it... thus why Im asking... yes still want to track down root cause but also would like to know when it's turning on and off
I would suggest super gluing it on!! Otherwise, people like those short antennas and easy to steal. Had mine stolen and got a new one and super glued it on. No one has stolen it yet,lol.

Thank you for this. I just got aftermarket stereo same year 150, and the biggest thing I was bummed about was there a saying I was not gonna have my temp control which I like you, look at all the time when I’m driving.

I have the same dash in my 96 GMC Sinoma SLS Highrider 4X4 Ive been wanting to find something to install like I have in my 02 Sonoma 4X4 4 door . I had Best Buy install my big screen blue tooth stereo and dash speakers , I did my own door speakers 🔊 its great can answer the phone hands free .

Unfortunately that’s from the older system, the one in this video is the digital system that replaced yours. The new one is discontinued now and yours was before that. You may still find parts for that on eBay but maybe used. Sad that they got rid of both systems. If you do call around, ask if they know or did work on these systems so you don’t waste your money.

Do you mean screen size? Standard double din, so it the screen is bigger than ours, but still standard, it will fit. Actually I didn’t like that radio so we bought a different one. I’ll do a review of that one and install of new one
Did you get ecu flashed or changed? Or just running the stock map? I want to get one but wasn’t sure if it would be super lean on the stock map.
We left the stock map, it’s for little kids and didn’t want too much power. Haha. Runs fine and sounds real good

Just seeing this, I ride a lot in shorts and no heat shield needed for me at least. Def felt a little power boost. I have the EKG commander but never installed it. Still runs great without it.

@@NiceGarage It's arriving tomorrow. I have a 2006 Silverado and have done a lot of upgrades that i have seen on various youtube channels. Sometime soon I am gonna film a vid of my truck showing everything i have done and include the channels i learned from. I'm gonna include you for the antenna. I've also installed a brand new 2017 center console, 2014 all black rear bumper with the side steps, newer style wheels & center caps, new nicop brake lines, transmission lines and a bunch of new front end steering parts.

To be honest I put this truck on hold as I may change direction, but I had purchased the Painless stand alone harness from summit. Probably could’ve used the factory TBI harness but I sold it with the motor not thinking
