I personally never tried mixing paint and spackle, but I heard you shouldn't mix oil based paint in the spackle. You can mix water in the spackle I used, so I guess it's fine as long as it's water based paint. Also I heard the color fades a little when it's dried. But I think it might depend on what kind of spackle you use. If you would like to try, I recommend trying with a very small amount and see how it goes. Hope it helps! 😊💕

Eket $25 x 5, furring strips $100 (including labor fee), plywood for cabinet doors $10, door handles $16, legs x2 $30, plywood $30 so it was a little over $300. I already had primer / paint and also other tools so I didn't include them in the budget. I recommend you start with small and easy projects, I used to do very simple (and crappy lol) DIY, then started wondering how to make it more professional and watching DIY CZcams videos and I learned so much little by little. In the US, Joann and Mood are great fabric shops. If cost is an issue, another option is thrift stores. I have found good fabrics in their domestics department for a low price by reusing sheets, blankets and curtains/drapes.
