Yes, a bagpiper greeted us as we came ashore and walked us across the bridge to the castle. At Ashford Castle the entire staff greeted us as we walked through the beauty of it all. They escorted us to the Snooker room where we were greeted by drinks. After which we were taken by an individual staff member to our room. An unforgettable experience. I'll be posting the bagpiper greeting us soon.

The Turtugaruba Association of volunteers does indeed do a simply incredible job of monitoring and nurturing the turtles and the nests. At one point this past July it was said there were over 63 nests on the island. The work you see they do for each one. Incredible.

The Turtugaruba Association had two workers making the pathway the other two were volunteers watching. Both have had knee replacement surgery and one is in his 70s the other 80s. Wonderful job and team work.

I couldn't have planned it if I tried...she did a little shift to perfectly cast moon over the sunset. Everyone was hustling for a good viewing spot.
