    Agreed! I came to a similar conclusion last month and have completed my first AI training course to get a better understanding of this technology. I think as Agile / Transformation and potentially AI Implementation professionals we will have to consistently be assessing our skills and knowledge to best support people and organisations through this journey. I wish you all the best with changing this channel to best reflect your views and philosophy.

    I suspect SAFe is a money making game hiding inside the chameleon skin of change and improvement. Bottom line. The engine underneath SAFe is Scrum. Scrum takes User Stories and ensures that these are built in sprint. But does it? Unless tightly managed (Approved by PO Demo Deck + ability to get value out into live via DevOps / ITIL). All the stuff above this in SAFe, if the focus is on SAFe means that SAFe can make Scrum (Agile) unsafe.

      Of course, SAFe is a for profit business. I suppose the question is whether you find any of the patterns, principles and guidance useful in reality, as most information is available for free. Thanks for sharing 😀.

    Of all 100 CZcams trainer in SAFe, you Ahmed is by far the best. Perfect training thought and flow, the time/effort listening to you against value/worth out of it, and finally your practical example is what most people wanted. This is not even mentioning your excellent command of English is a pleasure listening to. The other trainers out there are so bad in English that people ended up more confused than they started with. 😂😂 While other trainers only discuss what the textbook are already saying. A waste of time, even when they say “How to do a PI Planning event”

    Thank you for the real good information. I have one question though, Let's say PI is complete and there are few items are deprioritized for the development, but still part of the feature. what should we do in that case? Shall I close the feature as PI is ended and create new feature for new PI with carry over items or I shall not close the feature and carry forward it to next PI?

    • @SAFeintheRealWorld
      @SAFeintheRealWorld Před 6 měsíci

      Hi, my preference is usually (there are exceptions) to update the feature with what was delivered (the AC), adjust the Feature Points, set it to done, and create another feature for the next PI with the remainder and the remaining Feature points, that way you get the MVP out and ‘bank’ your velocity. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for your question.

    If application A follows SAFe PI planning and application B follows waterfall. How should a Safe Product Manager work to get the delivery of both applications in same iteration release?

    • @hefeibao
      @hefeibao Před 10 měsíci

      They are not really out of alignment. Scrum is simply rapid integration waterfall when you think about it. It's a matter of defining the dependencies and releases. Scrum, waterfall, etc. are execution models. What you care about as the PM is what gets delivered when, in what sequence, to ensure there are no missed dependencies.
