Living in Scranton is a living hell especially if youre a homeless person where all that the police do is harass us non stop. Why dont they go do something constructive with their lives and rescue those innocent donuts and coffee. What if someone threatens to murder a donut😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

1. Its cheap 2. Its only 2 hours from nyc philly and other major cities. 3. Schools are decent compared to many places. 4.crime isnt a major issue 5. Its not in the middle of nowhere. 6. No major traffic issues. 7. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful nature parks in the USA. 8. Its diverse 9. Its cold but not that cold there much colder places and fall spring and summer is gorgeous and Christmas is often a genuine white Christmas ❤️

I'm a double graduate of the Culinary. We were required to be in full chef's uniform, no spots or stains permitted on coat or apron, shoes polished, clean shaven-daily. All hair up and in a net. On time or locked out, no excuses. It was strict but you either wanted to be the best or failed. No in between. Great school when i was there. Full immersion into all things Food. If you aren't curious, disciplined and teachable you will have a difficult time.

It takes a while for her to say that this school is for people that are SERIOUS about becoming a chef. If you just want a school to hang out for a while, skip the CIA.

When it comes to real food for real people for real money this is a fine program. Its not for those half hearted and can be brutally tough. CIA aves kids the many years of having to work for trash operations that teach bad habits while fighting in cutthroat environments. Professionalism vs the many hack operations in the industry. Cost wise working for years for low wages for a hack actually cost more in every way.

I lived in Tobyhanna for 11 years. I agree with the sediment of the video. I have always said that the area is a beautiful area. If you want to relax, don't mind driving or the cold and enjoy the mountains it's a beautiful place to live. But if you need to support a family, need quality Healthcare and shopping within reach (groceries and clothing) this is not the place. There is nothing to attract young families there. The homes and taxes are cheaper, yes. But the salaries locally are about 20 - 30 % lower than other areas and the overall coast of living is higher. (Electric, water, cable, etc.) I find that living near Allentown or the outskirts may be a better choice. You are still close to NYC and Philly, but salaries are higher and better options for things to do. This is just my opinion.

i love this video because ive been considering changing careers. i went to school for automotive tech, the comparison is fair. it took me almost 7 -8 years AFTER SCHOOL, working 60-70/h a week. ( because school is the foundation ) to make more than 40-50k. i think ill stick with what im doing. I cant afford another 10 years lol if youre young PURSURE YOUR PASSION, but dont let school fuel your ego. that's the minimum or any carrier. your EXPERIENCE and SACRIFICE is what separates your from your fellow graduates
