very same thing happened to me ;_; going to get a new CC hopefully my battery is ok
Do you have enough time to timelapse it up to full speed? That could be fun!
It destroyed my batteries. It worked for 3-4-5 years, then my batteries are bricks and I get E 10 even when I hook up a good battery and no solar panel.
That is awesome. Imagine this in statues or sculptures.
Bonjour, vous avez l'adresse de ce musée ?. Merci

Will a 0.25mm solder bit do this?
Hey Alan, thanks for the video. I'm detecting the camera but I'm not able to see the additional buttons you see on your screen. It shows that I currently don't have any driver installed and don't see the button where I can install it. Can you perhaps help?
check your 8566b input attenuator, you need disassemble it and clean the contact
That's exactly what it was!
where is the self twerking machine?
Very selfish arrogant machine.Machines have to oil each other.
it looks so tired 😢
hope someday they will make machine to watch videos witch are made by others machine
CZcams algorithm watches videos to make sure they're not snuff or whatever. Some of the videos it watches are generated procedurally.
Step 1: cover yourself in oil

Why does this feel so wronh and unnerving
Well oiled machine
Very cool.
Lowkey though... It sounds like it needs some oil
I wonder if this was ever used on systems like large early Diesel generators of the day
I’m just waiting for the 1,000+ comments saying “it looks so tired 😢”
Hello Alan. I am facing an issue with the video recorded using Spinnaker SDK. I recorded a video for a duration of 20 min at 15 fps but once I open the video it shows an error (Broken or missing index). The recorded duration in the video is 38 min instead of 20 min but once I play. It's only 7 min. Do you have any idea? Thank you in advance
If you record at 15 frames-per-second and playback at 60 frames-per-second, the video will only be 5 minutes long. That's probably what's happening. You should set your playback application to display at 15 frames-per-second and it will last 20 minutes.
Switch it to 12v it's on 24v
I made one of these too. And the chain crossing itself and getting jammed was my only problem. The solution I came up with was to shorten the chain so it could not overlap itself. Certainly not as fun as all the chain you have... but a tangible solution. Otherwise, sandwich inside two pieces of acrylic... of course they might scratch...
It's been running for days and the chain-crossing is also the only problem I have. I'm going to try shortening a few links also and see what I get. Thanks.
Beautiful puppy 💤💤😴
What kind of motor that ،?
Thanks a lot for this vid, I need 1 or 2 global shutter cameras and I can find theese used (99% mono) but there is barely any info on how the capture process iss.
Are you able to show/talk about your physical camera setup? Do you have them linked via GPIO or are you triggering both cameras ONLY using SpinView?
The two cameras are linked with the GPIO cable as described in the camera documentation.
Hi Mr. Kilian, I'm doing a project where i need to control an iRobot using nvidia jetson nano. i have a usb to serial cable but still can't control the robot. do i need to change anything in the ubunto system to be able to use the serial port properly ? or is it simply supposed to work ? I am using python to run the robot, is that the case with you as well ? thank you!
These two links point to a tutorial showing how to use Python to control the iRobot Create-II edu.irobot.com/learning-library/python-tethered-driving-for-create-2 players.brightcove.net/6055873617001/default_default/index.html?videoId=6170415095001 Let us know how it works for you!
@@AlanKilian hello Mr kilian thank you for your respone i have been working with an ftdi cable without the 7pin minidin connection but rather with seperate lines. can you please tell us what is the cable you're using ? we're planning to buy one because right now it is still now working. p.s we're working with an iRobot not romba. does that make any diffrence ?
@@johnnyashkar4125 A 5 Volt FTDI connector should work fine. I am using the iRobot-supplied 7-pin round cable for my Create-II Here are some instructions on how to connect it. Do you have it connected like this? cdn-shop.adafruit.com/product-files/2438/Create_2_Serial_to_USB_Cable_Creation.pdf You can send a message to alankilian@gmail.com to work more on this.
@@AlanKilian Thank you very much mr killian! it worked for us. we're still unable to access the sensors. we're now using the pycreate library.
This is the end result of a "we don't make anything here" bullshit economy. After a year mine started doing the same thing last week.
Puppy attack!
Don't suppose you would know how to set the camera to give a digital output upon starting the recording, would you? The camera is the Blackfly S, by the way, also using SpinView.
No, the recording start/stop is just a spinview thing not a camera thing. Once the camera is started and starts producing frames, it does not know if something is recording those frames or not.
@@AlanKilian So, strictly speaking, there is no way to sync theese, right?
@@tokyowarfare6729 It's easy to synchronize two of these cameras: - Build or buy the GPIO cable and connect it to the two cameras. - Follow the instructions on the FLIR documentation site to configure the two cameras as primary and secondary. - Follow the instructions in this video to start recording - Done.
12 Years later, and that was painful to watch.
11 yrs. later :) Would you solder it, like back then ?
Mine is doing the exact same thing. So far harbor freight PV equipment had outperformed Renogy (expensive) equipment.
Q buen pulso maestro.
Looks defective. Mppt is worth it.
Mine wanderer 10a was putting 18 volts into my 12v lifepo4 battery. It is ruined, and I heard others have this problem, and renogy tries to say the 12v battery is at fault, how? What would make my battery voltage (not pv, it was at 21v) climb to 18v?
The only thing I can think of is that the Wanderer was set to 24 Volt battery accidentally. Also, any quality lifepo4 battery will have over voltage protection in the Battery Management System which will stop charging the battery when the input voltage is too high, so I don't think you've got a well protected battery.
@@AlanKilian It's set to 12v and the battery does have a bms. Not sure what happend. Thanks for the reply!
@@usarmyfl1 Super bummer that your battery got ruined. I returned my Renogy and I'll not buy another one of their products again. Too many people like you have had poor experiences. I replaced it with a TopSolar unit. It's working well, but it's still basically new, so I'll see if it continues to work. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0836PVY8J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The LiPoFe should have a BMS on it to regulate the battery , keeps it balanced, something a solar charge controller doesn't do
I just got one and had the same error. Sounds like they had a batch of these that were defective. Ended up getting a refund from the seller.
I'm having the same problem. Same hookup like your. Did u figure it out
I returned it for a full refund.
how to do it with 88i6745-TFJ1 ?
You can use the same technique with that part in a Quad Flat Pack package.
get anywhere with this? i have same error
I got a response and a trouble ticket number from Renogy and then the stopped replying to my messages. My opinion is that they were trying to delay until my Amazon return window closed so I just returned the whole package to Amazon unfortunately.
@@AlanKilian yes I also have the same problem. I will have to try and contact them. I will keep you updated.....
I’ve had the same thing happen on 2 units thus far. Same thing happened as yours, the random numbers and what not on the display before showing e10.
I also had this happen to me in 2020 and now today on the Renogy 10amp wanderer.
Hi. May I ask how u set up the connection between jetson nano and irobot create? Did u use serial ports?
The iRobot Create-2 comes with a USB to serial adapter for communication.
Glad to see that this method remains feasible. I have to solder one like this soon and a I'm very much intimidated by the thought of drag soldering. I'll try it of course, but if it doesn't work out I'm glad to know I can fall back on this method.
I don't know about 'falling back'... I found that once a bit of solder runs up and gets between the legs higher up on the IC, it's hell to try get it out. And solder wick risks pulling the fragile pins, a solder sucker bumps the pins....They really are fragile. What I did then was heat the shorted pins, and then immediately shook the board once hard at arms length so the molten solder is thrown outwards.
@@j.w.8663 I've used this method now on 7 different PCBs using stm32g474ret6 (not sure if I'm remembering the name right) but it worked every time. 300 C on the iron and lots of flux
@@d3vastat0r89 😄 good stuff!. My point about 'falling back' was that by that time, I've already buggered up the IC pins and/or tracks and there's nothing to fall back to😭
@@j.w.8663 oh damn, that sucks. I’ve managed to lift pads before and they’re really a pain to deal with even on 0805 footprints. If that happens to my stm32g474 footprint then it’s time to give up on that pcb.
This method is time consuming and impractical
That was an expert soldering skill Alan Kilian. How did you train yourself? Were you studied from technical school?
where can i get the spareparts of the ET2 motorcyle.
