    Great podcast as always ladies! 🔥 🙌 Kudos to the 40yo badass skateboarder woman 💪! At 50yo I am still practicing handstands and racing amongst my other awesome standup paddle boarding community 🤸🏻‍♂️ 🏄 🌊 As you mentioned Ashleigh, keep doing what you love! I started my handstand practice at 40, a time when my kids became more independent, which allowed me to carve out 90 minutes a day doing what I love and working hard at it- my youngest daughter was practicing gymnastics at the time, and I was so inspired to handstand and flip around like she was. And so here I am, 10 years later and still at it and never going to stop!

    So I’m doing keto . I’ve been told to stick to low intensity workouts . Does this mean in order to switch to a higher intensity workout such as running, I need more carbs??

    Carbs are so important that the body makes ALL that it needs. There is ZERO dietary requirement for carbs.

    This looks to be a very effective dumbbell routine. I have a 45° leg press/ hack squat, but it takes up so much room, I'm thinking about selling it and doing this method. I also have PowerBlock dumbbells that hardly take up any room. I'm just trying to get more space.

    This has become a common theme that many of these carnivore coaches, etc don't like to hear....that "Carnivore is great until its not". I have addressed this with some of them and they do not want to hear nor address this.

      Tell that to the Masai Warriors and the Innuit, none of whom ever depart from carnivore. The only ones who have get heart disease, obesity, and diabetes

      @@chazwymanlol they eat honey all the time and drink minimal water, so their electrolytes aren’t depleted. And they also don’t overeat and live in gluconeogenesis, which rips/destroys muscle tissue.

    Why is it only women do this? Guys want to have a nice round glutes too but you never see a guy do this exercise. I guess we don’t want the ridicule.

    Easy: don't drink alcohol or else drink a negligible amount very rarely so you don't have to track it.

    Interesting vid. I've never thought of alcohol as a macro before. I use a spreadsheet instead of an app, and I do track alcohol calories, but don't really track carbs as much because the beer I drink is really low carb and I don't eat carbs in food form. Definitely never counted alcohol as protein lol but that would be pretty amazing :) Thanks for this.

    You don't break down muscle you stimulate muscle through different fibers acavating and deactivateing switching off before muscle break down resting fibers reactivate after like 40 seconds when glycogen and ATP thresholds are back then when you recover your ATP thresholds get larger mussle size grows glycogen reserves are larger. This is an old narrative that is wrong

    This is good for intermediate lifters however beginners have a tendency to round the shoulders and upper back when doing RDLs so it's better to recommend beginners do it with a head up as it leads to less rounding and more advanced lifters do it head down as they know how to keep a straight back
