Best lineup IMO, and the first two albums were, no pun intended, killer! The Live/Rainbow show is a band at its best. Payl was always the better lead. Too bad drugs derailed his career. A shooting star.

August 8th, 2009, WaMu Theatre, Seattle, Washington. I was there. Seeing Ronnie with Black Sabbath/Heaven and Hell was as good as seeing Led Zeppelin in the Kingdome in 1977! Legendary Performance by both bands! I was lucky to see both of these shows! Long Live Rock and Roll. "It's The End of the World," without Ronnie.

For those commenting "greatest era" and "amazing singer": are you deaf or what? Tony was probably Sabbath's best singer in the studio and definitely their WORST singer ever live. And for those who say "throat infection", it's full of live clips where he sings even worse than this: does he always have throat infections?

I love the Tony Martin era, but he didn't hit any of the high notes during this show/song. Without those few high notes the song loses all of its "oomph."

Always come back to this because Tipton is just soaring here! His tone is gorgeous and he weaves so effortlessly between lead and rhythm. Despite their differences, Downing and Tipton were one HELL of a team together. Everyone was on top form this show, so grateful is was recorded so well.
