Hi, my name is Stephan Lipinski, or other wise known as "Pinner". I am a jazz/rock/fusion guitarist from New Jersey. I began playing back in the sixth grade and was fortunate to study with Jazz Great Vic Juris while in high school. My biggest and most direct influences include Robben Ford (www.robbenford.com/) Vic Juris (www.myspace.com/vicjuris) Scott Lerner (www.scottlernermusic.com/) and Chuck D'Aloia (chuckdaloiamusic.com/) I have played in everyting from jazz to rock bands, and latest project was an acoustic duo called Kosmik Kow. Even though I am not in formal group now, I can be found at local jam sessions and sitting in with some friend's bands. My current gear includes a Collings i35lc, Collings City Limits, Suhr S1 and a Mark Jenny Reliced Telecaster into a Fuchs Overdrive Supreme Bassman Mod (with some additional mods by Scott Lerner) into a Glaswerks 2x12 with Celestion G12-65's.I am a big fan of Dumble style amplifiers lol.

Would you say it can get push distorted metal tones by adjusting the internal trim pots?
Honestly there was a lot of gain already, more than my ODS. I wish my brother had a chance to try it as he is more a metal shredder guy. I would say yes but I would ask Andy directly. I also believe he mentioned that he might be making a more Marshall voiced one as well.

Damn, They are really hard to tell apart!
They are definitely both great amps but definitely a difference live. The ODH has more gain and zing and mids are a little different too. Keep in mind my ODS has been modded even further toward the Robben Ford Circuit. One isn't better than the other, just a little different to be expected. It's a great amp that I look forward to getting soon!!!!

Thanks. Amp is a Fuchs ODS Bassman mod with more mods getting it closer to Robben Ford amp. Guitar was a Collings i35lc.

Hey, nice demo. Ive tried pairs of these in the same 2x12 closed back. They don't sound very similar. The ET90 is better for cleans, but the ET65 is good for cleans and breakup. Overall the ET65 is a better speaker. I don't use the ET90s.
Thanks. I do like both but I have an issue with the et65. I had it made as 4 ohms so it would match my amp better but sounds a little weird. I ended going back to my fav, the Celestion g12-65.

Thanks a lot. There are a bunch of resources out there. Honestly the biggest thing is learning the basic scales and modes and then listen a lot to those who play in the style you really like. Overtime you start to learn and absorb the feel and sensibilities. For books I would recommend Jostein Gulbranson’s, some of Oz Noy’s materials, Allen Hinds as well. Hope this helps!!

I have one I put a tone tubby purple haze in. What we’re your settings on this? I’m finding mine to be pretty ice picky
It was so long ago I don't remember sorry. It was a friends amp I was messing with. I remember it being a little brighter than my ODS mod, but never felt it was ice picky.
