I know you're trying to be thrifty but a Father's day gift from the dollar store is not very thoughtful.

FYI not all glass containers are tempered to handle the heat of a flame, and should not be used to make candles. I have had glass explode because someone used a standard jar or cup or vase. Be VERY careful when choosing your vessel! If it is suitable for glass it will generally say so on the bottom. Or just stick to using thick jars that have alrdy been a jarred candle before. Upcycle and stay safe 😉

Wow! I love the ideas here! Never honestly thought of grabbing these tall candles, wax melts and scents to experiment with. I mean, I did do a similar thing back in 2020 with older, used-up wax from the 3-wick candles you get at Walmart, but I was having to do a workaround with one of those long grill lighters because the power was out for a week due to a big storm we'd had.😅 The two candles I melted down made 2 smaller Mason-jars' worth (I had later gone to my friend's apartment to do a final melt-and-pour with her melting pot), and because both candles had fall/winter scents and colors, they smelled divine! 😁 But these ideas are superb!

Yeah don’t do this. Fake flowers are fabric or plastic, aka flammable and highly dangerous in a candle.

I’m afraid this is dangerous due to it being a fire hazard.
