I know this was a while back but there is another sad story linked to this story. They had a monument to the boys by the lake and another family came to visit. There was 7 people in that car: 3 adults and 4 children. This was before the guardrail was put up. Well anyway something happened and the car carrying all 7 people rolled into the water. All 3 adults got out but they realised that the kids were trapped. So they dived to go back in and try and get the kids out. Sadly all 7 perished as the adults died trying to save the kids. This is why the monument is now further down the road to the 2 boys and the guardrail is up so no car can accidentally roll in

I think she should have been charged with first degree murder, prison is too good for her. She had other choices to rid herself of her children because that was what she wanted; their father, grandmother or even child services. Where does a mind go that THIS is the option you take? After all these years I can still see those little boys faces.

Oh my god....l remember that one of the police divers that helped pull that car out of the lake had a complete breakdown and quit law enforcement when he saw those babies bodies strapped in that car...l wanna start bawling And crying everytime l remember this cause my kids were little when l saw this on the news...

This happened right down the road from where I lived growing up as a child. It was huge around these parts. I remember being 4 years old and literally seeing people drop to their knees crying and then rioting & picketing around the area. Can't believe it has been this long.
