I have this headgear and I got a bloody nose this week i quick jab usaly finds it way to your nose you still need good head movement with this gear
joe g I think its supposed to just keep your nose in place
I'm having issues with my Rival D30 headgear, it blocks my peripheral vision and just feels so clunky on my head, makes me feel like I'm suffocating and I hate how it blocks my vision, I may end up switching to this headgear, it looks like it doesn't block your vision as much, if at all.
Hey Alex how are you? I was wondering if you have ever tried the Winning headgear vs this Cleto Reyes Headgear? If you ever have can you give me pros and cons of the two and how well the impact absorption of both or either or? I ask because I seen a really sweet gold headgear I really want but I am scouting off of reviews I really wanted to know the effects from the impact because I am going to start sparring and I like challenges and some of the football players that hit like George Foreman are intimidating but I ain't no chicken or turkey just want to be well prepared cuz, "I WAS BORN READY!!!"
it doesnt compress your laugh lines by your nose right? i hate head gear that does that.
it does not protect your chin as I can see but it does protect your nose more or less. i think you could still get hit in te nose sometimes by the looks of it. but i like how it doesnt compress the front of your cheeks.

+Alan Vazquez It does, it will protect the majority of the punches. You will feel punches here and there on your nose as the gear may slide, except, it will reduce damage to that area of the face.

fractured my nose bridge sparring and dont want to wait 5 weeks before getting back into the ring. Will this help?
preston howard you will still feel the brush of gloves or impact against nose. The bar does a good job deflecting and absorbing punches. This being a contact sport accidents happen. If you are fitted correctly for it and understand how to put it on, it will eliminate big punches to your nose.

awesome, give it a chance. the break in period will take some time. You will definitely learn to stick and move in this headgear. every now and then you will feel gloves brushing the nose. great protection. Fight on!
