One of my favourite Duke maps. The atmosphere in this one is nice, really feels like you're on an alien planet. Nice to see another Duke fan like myself.

Fuck I love the lady killer casino level and design in forever-brings back the nostalgia❤. They need to remake it with added areas and better graphics

Damn, brings back nostalgia of early 2000. Some players used names from the movie Blade. This was before steam when you didn't need an account and the mods were free. Day of defeat, natural selection, Cs and the specialist were good times!

@9:13 really got me. I know for definite the shrink ray is being fired and is meant to reflect of the corner mirrors. However one of those damn pillars is in the way @10:28 and the ray hits that and goes no further. I imagine there's a way to lower the pillar blocking the path for the shrink ray. There must be a button or something hidden somewhere.

That first CTF where we were 9-9 and battling for that last point, and the Bomberman-inspired Flag-Tag... that's probably the best I had played in a while, but how long was NY00123 hovering at just 1 point to victory?!

4:20 I think that's a minor bug there. Duke is only supposed to swear like that if the player that was just killed has carried the flag for a full 60 seconds uninterrupted.

Hot fighters.

This was the first William Gee map I played, and boy, what a visual treat with some clever editing tricks to make the level feel larger then it is. Would love to see even more DNF Vegas inspired levels now. Also, the multiple references to Kubrick's The Shinning reminds me of the great recreation map someone made for Duke called REDRUM: The Shining 2, which is also great, especially given the context of when it was released.

William Gee never disappoints when it comes to making challenging maps, wonderful gameplay too, you can't appreciate the qualities of a map without having the ability to show it to its maximum splendor.

Art and atmosphere look good and reminiscent of duke3d, and yellow shrinker / expander that shoots the ball is a cool detail.
