I've fought for decades to try to save the state I love, but have finally realized it's a lost cause. I live in sedgefield since I moved from denver a while ago. Its so nice down to earth neighborhood.

Maybe I just have lousy timing, but all I’m seeing near $300 right now are either manufactured homes or just very dilapidated. I’d say closer to $500 median for anything new or turnkey.

I just can’t agree with Knoxville having a fantastic food scene. Honestly, the food/restaurants are one of the few things I’m not thrilled about living here. Even the so-called 5-star restaurants are just okay and often overpriced.

Home prices ARE becoming more expensive than New England. The homes are way over proced.

Knoxville is not that great. It gets boring fast. The people are decendents of the shanty Irish, most are dishonest especially local contractors. It is beautiful but the people are better up north. Just think of pikey of the born and breed. If Oak Ridge every pulls out theire literally would be no high paying jobs.

You forgot to mention that there's no alligators or snakes on the water so people will enjoy a swimming day with no fear, not like here in Florida. Lol

We love Classical Conversations which is in the area and great reformed churches. Any recommendations in Eastern TN for low property tax counties with 100+ acres for sale outside Knoxville?
