It’s a great show! I love the characters, and the story development!

Just be honest, it was terrible. Stop acting like this is something r&m fans are going to enjoy... it's not. This is Rick and Morty in name only. It's nothing like anime, Anime can tell a story. This was 20ish mins of semi-coherent nonsense. Best case scenario...the REAL cartoon will one day make fun of this failure. 😂

I was hoping for a style similar to FLCL, Space Dandy, or the new Trigun remake. Overall, it misses the mature dramatic tone that would set it apart from the original, and the animation doesn't capture the essence of anime for me.

In reference to the pace, I think the whole morty subplot is designed that way to convey R&Ms primary message that nothing matters because there are infinite versions of everything. It's chaotic by design.

Aight one thing for real. While they do travel through time a couple of times in the OG show. I think it happens like twice total. There is ONE main timeline and MULTIPLE parallel universes reached through interdimensional travel. They even go into it multiple times as to why Rick personally doesn't appreciate actual time travel. So saying "timelines" in reference to the OG show is just not accurate.
