Sofia Ortega, I'm glad the videos help! :) It is recommended therapy be provided in the child's primary language whenever possible, so if you speak Spanish, you can do it in Spanish! We are not supposed to teach English in speech therapy. If the child is in school, and the language of instruction is English, then it makes sense to provide therapy in English. Bottom line is that you want to support the child to make progress in the language (s)he is strongest in, and the language that his/ her parents, caregivers and teachers can reinforce outside of therapy. I would definitely not mix languages past age 3, unless the child is mostly non-verbal, and can only articulate certain easy words from both languages (therefore for articulation therapy purposes).
