Thanks for posting video of this tool in use. One thing though: I think you’d be better off using a concrete saw to notch that out. You’re throwing a tremendous amount of vibration through a block that doesn’t really like vibration. I would expect this to make lots of little fractures that could lead to the block falling apart later. Thanks again for the video.

got one of these for 25$. thought i was buying from china but it showed up in a walmaart box from a dropshipper/return resell probably. I did not at all like the power supply it came with, looks the same as yours. i bought a 12v laptop powersupply with more amperage range and wired it into the 12v socket in the back, seemed to run a little bit cooler after that. eventually they can have an issue where a capacitor on the control board will go bad and need to be replaced after a year or two of use if you keep it up against a wall. not the best design. price is good though. i believe i clipped some of the fan grates off to hopefully help it cool better. you can enter some kind of programing or diagnostic mode by holding the 1st and 3rd buttons for 10 seconds, but i tried for an hour and could not reprogam its low temp set point past whatever they have it set at. i bleieve it is a generic control module and other units with more buttons could change this.

im strugglin to pick this kohler elclave acrylic $1100 or a bootz porcelain $400. The kohler looks better and priceir but i thought acrylic can crack and leak after a while?
