Exactly, culture is important, when you take something like a type of music and or dance and you change it, profit out of it and disregard its origins it is call cultural appropriation, when people divide the terms and use something like "Dominican Bachata" (as if Dominicans jumped in the Bachata bandwagon later on) or sensual bachata as if Bachata in it's pure form cannot be sensual that is rubbish, you need to learn, live, appreciate something before you transform it, that is the rule of art, most people have no idea that the music they are dancing has a proper way to be danced.

I wouldn't spread the term 'fake'. Because this word is overused across social media and it is a joke. It won't do any favor to the importance of your intentions, it is just my opinion but why not to use the word 'unauthentic' (which on oxford dictionary is defined as "not made or done in a way that reflects tradition or faithfully resembles an original". I don't see the problem. The names are quite clear, we have domican or authentic bachata, bachata moderna and sensual bachata. It's pretty clear what is what. I think it's pretty silly to say sensual bachata has to eliminate the bachata from its name because i don't like it... It's quite presumptuous and kind of gatekeeping to say my favourite dance style is superior to others and i dont want thise others to use a name which includes party of my favourite style, and even calling them fake.
