System controls on that lighting system on the real CHP car only allow the selection of the Amber OR the Red light on the package shelf (in conjunction with the blue light). Amber and Red package shelf lights could not activate simultaneously. Additionally, there was no steady light function on any package light. Only flashing was available.

Those early Crown Vic police cars are so hard to find. That was an era where police cars were police cars. Looking at this makes me proud of owning a 1989 LX. There is another '88-'91 Crown Victoria in the very beginning of video where people are sitting on.
