Ms. Eklund is just amazing.
I know this is really old, but thanks. I'm a student, but playing this with another adult player who is more a beginner. I'm playing the "teacher" part. This helps me a lot to get the feel for the piece. I have recorded it at 10bpm increments from 60-120 to help the other student. Going to be my first time playing a duet with another student. I might be more nervous as I'll have to adjust to his speed changes and pauses :) Wish me luck. Thanks again.

Yes. Change the pedal when the left-hand harmonies shift.
Why isn’t there pedaling indicated on the print music of Fading Into Twilight? Is pedaling used in your piece “Dreamweaver” also? 😀
@@shellyhicken5163 - for music at this level (intermediate) and above I don't ever put pedal markings in the scores unless there is a *really* specific pedal technique necessary at a certain spot. For players at this level it is just "assumed" that the pedal will be used. A general rule of thumb: pedal "tastefully" - not too much, not too little. Hope that helps!

Switch the pedal every time the bass notes (the chord) changes.
