Not long after Orlando, we were back in action for the second round of the US Pro Kart Series at Speedsportz Racing Park near Houston, Texas. My dissatisfaction with the outcome of Orlando fueled me to put in the extra time and effort to make sure that this would be a better weekend. Through a roller coaster of highs and lows, it was one of my most excited and action-packed weekends yet.

After a less-than-ideal Pre-Final, I had to start back in 15th out of 45. This was a definite roller-coaster of a race, as I'd make up ground and then get knocked back multiple times, but I fought through and had a fun and exciting race in the process.

Hey you were racing in my hometown! Love the track and have been looking at getting into karting for a while. Keep it up! I was actually there three months prior for one of my high school classes (Career Center), and I was stoked to be at an actual race track.
