Andonstar AD208 Microscope - Good for PCB work ?
Andonstar AD208 Digital Microscope
A quick showcase of what this microscope is like. Maximum working height, video delay/lag and maximum zoom. Maximum work height is very usable and maximum zoom has great focal range. Video delay is much better than I had expected.

Pandora Box 6S Freezing Fault Repair
zhlédnutí 276Před 9 měsíci
This 6s arcade box had been dropped. Video shows the fault and repair. Additional testing was done that is not shown in the video. I tried a new power supply, reseated the sd card, tried a new card with downloaded OS and games. I also did a quick check for shorts, and confirmed the supply lines on the board were present and not being pulled low.

Making a Wooden Belt Grinder Wheel
zhlédnutí 39KPřed 4 lety
The old wheel was too small at 77mm, this new one is larger @ 88mm. Made from MDF instead of pine it is a lot more solid. This also gives a belt speed increase from 11.4 m/sec (2250 sfpm) up to 13.1 m/sec (2580 sfpm). A great improvement.

First one showed missing parts. Second one was complete. It's a working bench grinder czcams.com/users/postUgkxxC8HPnl24fu0XhMU_nbmWNEUoK1RMHXk . One thing I like alot is that it's surprisingly quiet. I don't feel like I'm sacrificing any rpms or power for the quietness either. All in all it's a very nice machine. No vibration whatsoever.

Thanks for a practical way to build a good tool at moderate expense. So what if a machinist can build one with with 15K worth of machine tools. Thanks again. I would like to see pictures. bolt sizes, etc. You could make a paper plan and email it to those interested.l would be happy to pay something for that. (reasonable of course).

I like that it is built out to from the motor, so when using, your part( being sanded) is clear fro any obstructions caused by the unit (grinder motor) itself.
