I learned about the books of Dr. Immanuel Velikovsky during the early 1970's and I attended one of his lectures in New Jersey shortly before he passed away. His research was so magnificent. He set out to prove whether or not the stories of the Old Testament could be true, and he found that those crazy sounding stories were all corroborated by scriptures of that time, all around the Earth. His genius takes my breath away. It's shocking to me that most of the scientific community is taking so long to get on board with Velikovsky's research. Thanks again!

Imagine a big yellow planet where the astroid belt now sits, many cultures some directly others by alegory or repeating second hand that their ancestors said( possably even after contact with the popes foot solldiers and mis quoted or ttranslated. Your ground and stinger have 2 sides to their circuit. Unless the board was fully saturated with water, it wouldn't work. You need to put a metal rod in both the stinger and ground. Then touch the 2 rods to the piece to complete the circuit.

According to the accepted geomorphological theory those are formed by glacial streams (ice). Some mountain-peaks look above the ice (nunataks) and get eroded from all sides. This at least explains mountains like the Matterhorn well with their sharp edges. Those are really the usual form of mountain tops in alpine mountains, that have or had glaciers. I haven't heard about the Matterhorn being a displaced rock. Maybe inland ice (like in Greenland today) could carry rocks of this size, maybe it can't. Plutonic rocks can only be granite, not limestone. So, the Matterhorn would not be one. Granite forms deep inside the Earth, when a magma chamber cools down, which leaves a very hard rock made from large crystals (granite). Another process would be in volcanic vents - when the magma there gets cold, it forms basalt. Also very hard, but made from small crystals. After erosion of the rocks around, the basalt is often visible as hexagonic columns, while granite on the surface erodes in form of large lumps. So, this basically leaves the mountains in the picture and the ones in Arizona as a result of another process.
