I learned to drive in moms ‘70 Lesabre Custom two door. Exact same color. This car brings back loads of memories. Looks like an amazing time capsule.
I remember that term: "the way back" from my childhood many years ago.
Están bien chingonas!!
Just 2 days ago I was unaware Buick made a full-size wagon in 1970 and now I have seen it in two CZcams videos. Like everyone else who sees this car, I would like to know how it survived 54 years.
The way that this one is equipped, it had to cost in the neighborhood of $6,000 when new.
Beautiful wagon, 69 and 70 were great looking years for the full size Buicks.
The way way back. 😉
Vehículo nada más que impresionante…👍🏻
My family had one of those... so cool... old school...
I'd like to see cars built like this again, looks like a comfortable place to be. I'm from Scotland and the Buick marque was founded by a Scottish born man whose family moved to the states when he was young. I personally like the 1950's Cadillac's and the 66 through to 76 incarnations of the Cadillac 75, especially the Talisman. But this station wagon looks special, that embroidery on the seats is ah just great.
I concur, would be nice if someone made neeer cars with this much thought and detail
@@danielsalzman3019 Yo buddy! I'm looking to purchase one of these! Anything I should know before I get saving? 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
@@-HumbleJesusMember-No.173 Just hard to find these, especially one that not abused. Great car and powerful engine, very comfy inside. Strong recommend!
@@danielsalzman3019 Will do buddy! 😁
And shifts the gear selector with his left arm. WTF?
I was holding the camera with my right, lol
Ah. Makes sense. Rockin' with the Knack! Have a good one.
My dad brought Buicks he called them poor man's Cadillacs.
Very nice wagon. My parent's had two when I was growing up, a 1963 AMC Rambler station wagon and a 1973 Chevy station wagon with a Malibu front end.
Very cool!
Love how he just blew threw the stop sign
That’s a California stop.
@@danielsalzman3019 What's good man, should I buy one of these? I'm interested! 🤷🏾♂️
@@danielsalzman3019 Calif rolling stop we call em here in Az.
Magnificent! Love the details, especially the curved design at the top of the wood grain side paneling and the curved bodyside molding--similar to the '69 and '70 Buick full-sized Sedans.
Gorgeous and well preserved example of a great 1970 Buick Estate Wagon! Love the color combination and the Buick Mag Wheels--they really set this car apart from other wagons! This is a superb "family car!" Thanks for sharing the video!
Thanks, I love the wheels too. Muscle wagon.
Nice video thanks for posting. What is the aftermarket device on top of the signal stalk?
That’s cruise control and I am pretty sure it a dealer option.
@@danielsalzman3019 ok cool, thanks
How much is it WITHOUT straightening out the seat belts ?
lol. 😂
I love wagons ! This one is beautiful . Zero evidence of kid traffic however . Never saw one .
I have clean kids!
I used to work at a gas station that was well known for giving your car a thorough cleaning in and out, this was in 74,75ish and because I was a little guy They always made me get in those wagons and clean the windows and vacuum every nook and cranny, especially the vista cruisers, all those dang little windows up top 😮😢!❤yeesh!😅😊
Very nice.
Thank you
Colour is great😊
Close … this wagon was in the movie “The Way Back.”
When I was a kid a man in my hometown bought a new 1970 Buick Estate Wagon. It wasn’t as well equipped as this one. It sure was a nice car though.
like the day it was made!!!
❤❤
Beautiful. I wanted one of these but I would have to import one
It will increase a carbon footprint to the power of ten!
