Usually I feel companies put out these videos to show why something costs so much. After watching this I definitely feel Birkenstocks are overpriced.

Is the "premium" leather noticeably higher quality than the "oiled" leather? I wasn't a fan of the my leather Birkenstocks that had a plastic coating that peeled off. If you have to put plastic on top of the leather I can only assume the leather was garbage to begin with.

I know the Bostons are trending, but I love my Naples and Buckley!

Used one pair of this brand, it was the most comfortable from all I used before. Not cheap, but the quality and comfort is top❤

While I admire the process of making them and the story behind Birkenstock, but my God! They fûƆķíňG hurt wearing them! Both my feet's arches were swollen and numb after a day of wearing them. I bought two pairs on different years because I really want to love them, but my experiences were frustratingly bad. I finally researched on it and they say it may take a week to break them in. But no, for me it hurts weeks after weeks so I finally gave them up. Sorry Birkenstock.

The fact that employees were not able to even fake a smile for the video tells you about the working conditions ( typical German factories). The background music is sad and depressing and these medieval scandals are expensive for no reason.

@BIRKENSTOCKtv - I am VERY confused. The video "introduces" the Milano Bold, however the video features the Arizona and Boston Bold from a year ago. I would hope that if you introduce a new model, it would feature in the video (or am I being unreasonable)? (disclaimer - I own the Arizona and Boston Bold, can't wait to get the Milano Bold).
