I hope this isn't another one-shot aircraft that is developed just to break a record, flies once, breaks the record, and then goes to a museum and never flies again. Because these guys have a habit of doing that.

Very good ideea, congratulations! Two changes that I would make, call it free feedback :) 1. the cockpit full of glass/plastic, to have 360 degrees view and underneath view too; 2. the solar panels should be placed on a moving, rotating structure, so that they could "bend or rotate" towards the sun, to be able to use all of them. In the picture at 4:46 you can see the south side and the north side, where the panels are wasted, as they capture nothing. Good luck!

You are NOT going to use helium ... Don't tell porky's, Not sustainable if Helium and not safe if Hydrogen. And both gasses leak like no other. Waste of capital venture.

when you read about charles lindburgh and you see and old man and a paralyzed woman flying this and the scale, you realize , they cannot fix anything that seriously goes wrong. one technological mishap, and the flight fails. and fails big, since this is an expensive machine. why don't they open source the designs? one wonders if this isn't merely a vanity based design, but it seems risky. the tech is 'good enough' perhaps as a demo, but it's not there yet. airship tech is almost there, but the reality of AI feedback control systems, and other hardware improvements are real, and perhaps making airships one day quite feasible and Inexpensive. without question, hydrogen bases lifting gasses, even h2 perhaps, are the path forwards, helium is an abusurdity and a non starter if this industry is going to scale worldwide. i do like the french commitment to investing in airships. mongolfiere would be proud.

And just how is it proposed to obtain such volumes of irreplaceable helium without extracting large quantities of fossil fuel (natural gas), as is the usual process? Helium is typically very far from “carbon neutral.”

Magnifique, sa me fait penser au premier dirigeable qui a fait le tour du monde avec escale. J'ai hâte de voir les documentaires sur cette traversée sans escale et qui sait peut-être un dirigeable pourrait faire escale dans les outre-mer françaises (îles de la Réunion).

Félicitation pour ce projet qui est vraiment beau et Mme Bourneton, j'ai eu la chance de vous apercevoir au Bourget mais je ne vous ai pas abordé car vous étiez avec de jeunes scolaires dans le stand du CNES et en temps qu'enseignant, je sais que ces jeunes avaient des étoiles plein les yeux (Je prendrai contact via email avec vous) quand à M. Togninini, je vous ai également croisé mais vous avez disparu très rapidement Merci pour ce que vous faites.
