i swear i seen a video just like this when i was younger but there was a part where its like the neck of the guitar and it goes like if u can read this u slid too far or something i cant find it

It's a mix of art and science, more so when you see all that goes into a shot, the shot, and how it looks after post. It takes a lot of work to get something looking professional. When I graduated high school in '87 doing something like this would have been near impossible unless you knew someone that worked for a studio (and you could "steal" what you need for a weekend and have it back to the lot by monday morning). I've discovered so much great indy stuff over the past decade or so that I don't get excited over most of the stuff coming from the major studios. The big studio stuff I try to see I can count on one hand. On the other hand there has been indy stuff that I've been screaming at the monitor at to "release the next section you ninnies!". In short that is the difference between the small production people caring about the story and the big studios caring about market share and product placement. The only down side to this golden age of indy content is having to find it randomly (via a place like Dust or other distribution channel) or hearing about it word of mouth from a friend. There was a great project from a company here in Ohio that now one has ever heard of, that had me marking the calendar on my phone for the release dates. might need to see if I can perpetually take a single class at the local community college and see if that will allow me to have an annual independent film festival there :).

Hey Mike, I just "discovered" your movie, "Frankie" and enjoyed it so much I had to drop you a line. My Dad and I use to watch a lot of sci-fi movies together and he would've really loved this one! Enjoyed the silence of speaking, the colors, and all the intricate details. It was fun figuring out the story from all the visuals. Beautifully done with a good laugh at the end.
