First time seeing your videos and wow what a quality of video with clear explanations.

Very well produced, edited and informative for that particular job. However if you are that far into it, you really should clean or replace the EGR valve. Yes is adds some time and frustration, but it should be done as well. The EGR cooler probably should be done as well, but that is a much more involved job.

Mine came out better than I thought. I bought from another seller. They did a terrible job cutting the square out and I had cut a hair off both sides. My old one I first glue the cracked places even though I know I will glue the new one on. It came out very good. I used some lithium grease too on the working parts of the shifter. Even a little on the place where the handle goes on. I had a hardtime taking the handle off so I use the forked prt of a hammer to pull it off again. So now my shifter shifts smooth after lubing the metal parts of the shifting mechanism. So you verified what figured, glue the thing to the old one. I covered the whole old one with glue to reinforce it because if one part breaks the other part will probably break too. Thanks

Thank you, thank you thank you for this video! My family and I were leaving town and I had to do a last-minute emergency replacement of our garbage disposal, which decided to leak all over the place. While I was down there, I jarred one of the hoses for our RO system and it started to drip from one of the collets you describe in your video. Went to Home Depot and bought the tee fitting you described (more like nine dollars these days instead of the four dollars it was when you made this video). Cannibalized the fitting and had the drip fixed in five minutes. You saved me! Thanks.

This is a great video. This car takes some work and it will eat your nerves. Part of the design of this car are not so smart especially the Winshield which is very easy to break and that cooler bracket on the bottom is just bad painful design not even necessary. I learned and done the head gasket alone and it was great for 23k miles now is running super rough misfiring cylinder 1,2. I’ve taken all off the manifold the cooler soaking overnight and the valve I gave a good cleaning,will see if this will solve my problem. The manifold was very dirty but after cleaning it only not a difference at all. After I took the egr valve off it was full of carbon on both ends. The design of the egr system is terrible as you have to keep doing it over and over.

Oil level should be half way up dipstick to minimise filling the intake.

Tip, put some petroleum jelly in the super glue cap, it will never stick and the nozzle will never clog. 👍

You have a very soothing voice, I fell asleep 😀, don't worry I watched it again. I use Mr muscle oderless oven clean , works great and doesn't eat aluminium.
