    At start of video, u mentioned star side of star delta for can be used as return path for fault current. Normaly the star winding offer a high inductance so the impedance Z will be higher , so fault current will be lower which will not activate primary system protection. Earthing xmer will provide almost zero Z ,which will alow high enough current to activate protection.

    Great info. I have a question. If external ct ratio is 180/1 and external pt ratio is 22000/110, meter ct ratio is -/5 and pt ratio is -/110. Is it possible to have such connection? If yes, then what will be the multiplying factor in that case and if no, please share the reason why?

      Accuracy problem will be there as meter CT is 5 A and you are going to connect meter from CT secondary of 1 A.

As you’re saying there will be accuracy issues, is there a way to evaluate how much difference in readings are we talking about? In the above case we are using MF as 36000
