Fun fact: the main villain of this movie and leader of the circus was originally going to be a character with a huge black beard named Mangiafuoco and would’ve been voiced by Ron Perlman. Del Toro eventually felt the character was a cliche and used count Volpe as the villain. Since Mangiafuoco’s stop motion model was already finished, they used it as a background character in the circus and Ron Perlman was recast as the podesta. The coachman who leads the land of toys was also going to be in the movie and would’ve been voiced by Tim Blake Nelson but Del Toro didn’t want to be to much dependent on fairytale creatures so the land of toys was remade into a military youth camp and Tim Blake Nelson was recast as the black rabbits.

You probably already know this, but the voice of the Gloink queen is the same person who does Uzi from Murder Drones.

Fun fact, the Italian 1938 dub (the first one) is the only in the world that adapted the dwarfs "Height Oh" in a real song. Great reaction. If you watch the movie again, play close attention to the music. When Ghostface is doing his thing, the music that's played is the old Universal Monster movie music. Then when Billy is at the window one of the times, in the background, the music is "Don't Fear the Reaper." So many Easter Eggs in this movie.

The 2012 version is dope but this to me is the best version no comparison. The writing and range of environments the turtles are put in is unmatched. Further, the 2003 series inspired a lot of ideas for the 2012 version. Best music too

Great reaction! This is my favorite American cartoon of all time, and it makes me sad that there aren't more reactions to this show. I think a lot of TMNT fans know about it, but it gets heavily overlooked by reactors on CZcams. I haven't really seen the other versions of the TMNT much, but from what I hear other say is that this version focuses more on the "ninja" part of the TMNT. (And, yes, that guy at the end died, because we never see him again. It establishes right from the beginning the ruthlessness of the villain.) Oh, by the way, the 2 police men you saw in this episode are supposed to look like co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Peter Laird was also heavily involved in making this show, and he said in an interview that was included in one of the DVDs for this show that this was the cartoon he always wanted to make. (I guess because the 80s Turtles were walking around in daylight too often, lol. But also because this series is based off of the original Mirage comics, and they even had people from Mirage working on the show, from what I understand.) This show focuses more on action with a little bit of comedy sprinkled in. Just to let you know, you may want to cut out the theme song from now on (unless it's a new version you haven't seen before) since that's what will get you in trouble for copyright on CZcams. As long as you don't have the theme song, the video itself usually doesn't get taken down so much. (I guess because this show really is overlooked, even by the algorithm, lol.)

I would like to clarify those details that you may have missed from episodes 1 and 2 (no spoilers). 1) As you could understand, this is not J, this is the Absolute Solver program itself, which was even mentioned in the series itself. Woot! More Murder Drones fans! The episodes get considerably better too! I would give one word of warning though, from here the story is going to be considerably more difficult to follow. There will be important dialogue and images that are not emphasized and are very easy to miss. A lot of reaction streamers I've watched have quickly gotten lost due to looking at chat or talking during some of the many important but seemingly innocuous bits. The show is also going to let viewers connect the dots on a lot of things rather than outright state what's going on. Basically just a recommendation to pay close attention to everything and you'll likely not get lost! One extra warning about streaming live streaming your reactions, there have been other streamers who have had trolls pop into their chat spamming spoilers which can really hinder a good experience, so be wary of that too. Anyway, hope you keep watching and enjoy the series! Episode 8 will be the final episode of the season and should be completed soon.
